Brighton Winter House - Restored Historic Home

Step back in time to Brighton, a historic turn-of-the-20th century estate in a spectacular setting on the East River with today's comforts. Downstairs there’s a formal living room, dining room, gourmet eat-in kitchen and half bath. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms (2 with queen beds and 1 with 2 twin beds) plus 4th room used as a TV room with a daybed. Full bath with clawfoot tub w/ shower. Screened porches for outdoor relaxation. Hammocks, kayaks, bicycles, spa, and gym are all available for you.

Relax as you watch the ever-changing North River and all its wildlife! Two bedrooms (one king, one queen bed) Bathroom has a tub/shower. Kitchen includes: Dishes, cookware, full size refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker Washer/ Dryer Linens and towels Water view from living room, master bedroom, front deck, and patio that includes a gas grill! Fish or sit on our dock, and enjoy the birds, sometimes a dolphin or two, and amazing sunsets! Launch your kayaks from our shore line.

Pine Cove is a 100-acre retreat on its own peninsula on the Severn - a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. Taking a half-mile driveway, you will find an oasis surrounded by three sides of water, with a private pool, commercial-grade outdoor kitchen, a small fishing pier, and a 245’ pier (Currently not usable). Excellent fishing, boating, kayaking, and swimming in the pool. 20 minutes from Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, Busch Gardens, and Water Country USA, with countless shops and restaurants.

The Stateroom

The Stateroom is a fabulous, updated, cozy cabin with a fireplace. Large kitchen, large bathroom, living room with a queen pull out sofa, separate bedroom with a queen bed and beautiful views of the bay from the living room. Steps away to the beach and fishing pier. You can also rent the Rudder which is an adjoining cabin (like at a hotel) which will sleep another 4 people. See our other listing on Airbnb for Rudder. Spring is a great time in Gloucester!

Enjoy a peaceful get away at this home in historic Gloucester, Va. This upscale home is located between two creeks that feed into the Piankatank River. It is not waterfront. It is centrally located to Mathews, Gloucester, Urbanna and Gwynns Island. Williamsburg is about a 50 minute drive. This part of Virginia is known for fishing, water sports, beaches and history. Come stay in this newly renovated rancher and enjoy the country on the river. We welcome one small dog under 50 lbs.
