Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Conveniently with the S-Bahn almost to the front door - off you go on vacation in our gently renovated wood house from 1896 in a uniquely quiet location, and yet in the middle of the village right next to the village fountain. A short walk to the breathtaking Diesbach Falls, a 5-minute drive to the Braunwald cable car and a view over fields, into the village and the Glarus mountains await you here. The house has all you need for a relaxing vacation.

Heaven will feel like a downgrade after staying here! This stylishly furnished chalet one of two fully private units in the house offers stunning mountain and Walensee views. It’s the perfect base for outdoor lovers: hiking trails, swimming spots, canoeing, stand-up paddling, wind- and kitesurfing, sailing, climbing rocks and indoor facilities are all close by. In winter, the Flumserberge ski region is just 15 minutes away, Sledding is available right in the village Habergschwend.

Diese stilvolle Unterkunft eignet sich perfekt für Ferien in den Glarner Bergen. Wandern, schwimmen, surfen, stand up paddlen, klettern, joggen, spazieren, Skifahren wunderschöne Natur. Kulturell bietet das Glarnerland einiges, z.B. Anna Göli Museum, Kunsthaus, Historisches Museum, urate Dorfteile z.B. Ennenda, Elm, Diesbach u.v. mehr. Nicht geeignet für kleine Kinder, wegen der Glastreppe. Mitten im Ennendaner Dorfkern, inklusive Kirchengeläut. Dafür sehr wenig Verkehr.
