Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission. Fairy ur Cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds. There is a comfy kingsize bed in the main bedroom and sofa bed in bedroom or lounge.

Recently renovated bungalow on a working farm near Gatehead Village in Ayrshire. It sleeps 4 people over 2 bedrooms. One with a King sized bed and en-suite and the other a twin room with two 'small double' beds. The cottage is a 500m walk to the fantastic Cochrane restaurant and bar where you will not be disappointed by the local sourced menu. We are a busy working farm here at New Bogside and tours are available. Dogs welcome but additional fees apply.

About us,   A warm welcome awaits you at our home in the centre of Strathaven overlooking the Hastie Park. We offer a private, one bedroom Guest Suite with its own access. The suite consists of a double bedroom, spacious living area and shower room which is suitable for single or double use. You will also have access to the adjoining dining room which has a fridge, toaster and microwave oven.
