Gettysburg: soggiorni in cottage

Good quiet place to stay near Harper’s Ferry. Place was clean, hot tub was nice we were able to watch deer next door and across the street hang out and graze. Everything was in place and clean. Beds were soft and comfortable. The only issue that I have is the rocks that line the driveway especially when turning out of the driveway will catch lower vehicles and cars it caused a little damage to my wife’s car and be careful where you park there is an oak tree with dead and rotting limbs that need to be trimmed that are right above the area where cars would park if you have more than one car. If I were to ever come back to Harper’s Ferry I would definitely stay there again.

Clean and spacious home in the mountains! It was perfect for our family of five. Our kids loved sleeping in the bunk beds and hanging out in the lower level of the home. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the fire pit outside to make s’mores at night. We spent a lot of time in Harpers Ferry nearby, walked the trails, and drove out to Washington DC one day during our trip. The owners did an excellent job with communication and we appreciated all of the recommendations they provided. We had a great time!

We booked this cabin for our anniversary trip and it was nothing short of amazing! It was in a great location, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and incredibly cozy. There was even fresh baked cookies, snacks, and all the things to make you feel right at home! Unfortunately a local wildfire cut our stay super short but Jessica was responsive and quick to communicate during the emergency. We appreciated her understanding when we decided to go home altogether - we were so saddened to leave early but we would absolutely book another trip here to try again!

This was our second time at Jim and Sandi’s place. We had a very relaxing time. The house is cozy and comfortable and we loved sitting out by the lake watching the ducks. We’re definitely looking forward to returning in the future!

The property we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and offered fantastic views of the river and surrounding areas. The house itself was very well maintained and offered a great outdoor area with the hot tub. Josh and Nicole were extremely accommodating and were absolutely fantastic hosts, would completely recommend them and staying on one of their properties.

We enjoyed our stay. We had s’mores over fire out one night. Wood was supplied. Plenty of towels Having one bathroom was not as convenient for 5 people but we enjoyed our stay. Grandkids enjoyed park across street. I would recommend. House was clean. Enjoyed coffee bar.

We loved staying at the lakefront property. The weather didn't allow us to spend much time in the amazing outdoor spaces at the home, so we will be back in warmee weather. The house was so comfortable and the view was amazing. We had everything we needed for a cozy mountain weekend away. We will definitely be back!

We love being surrounded by the Michaux State Forest. Foggy, misty morning’s after a thunderstorm just add to the beauty.

I love the peace and tranquillity at Jens place! I brought my teenage grandson along for a trip to the country and some time for us to connect away from it all. We spent time doing one of the puzzles at the house and relaxing. It was amazing to see him let down the “teenage edge” in the cozy atmosphere her cottage provides. While out and about one evening we stumbled upon what is an annual Christmas Tree lighting in the town square of Greencastle. What an experience! If you need to unwind and let go of the crazy world, look no further. Jen is an excellent host and her getaway will remain at the top of my list.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. Very clean and nice amenities. 25 minutes from White tail and 15 minutes from downtown Mercersburg. Super friendly hosts.

To our AirBnB hosts Carol & Pete: the BIRDHOUSE in Columbia, PA THANK YOU for your warm hospitality. The scones were delicious and the beautiful flowers left in our place of stay. Everything was nice, clean and we were provided with the comforts of home. From beginning to end. For allowing us to tour your other properties. The BUNTINGs were truly blessed. Will definitely come again. May God continue to bless you.

Loved every minute of our stay. Was warm and cozy and very welcoming of kids. My daughter (4 yrs) loved the books and toys. My son (6 yrs) loved the Zipline and building a fire with dad in the fire pit. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for morning coffee and family meals. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

This was our favorite spot thus far! The river view through all the windows and from the deck is breathtaking. DO NOT MISS THE SUNSETS! The house is very clean with a beautiful bathroom. It looks just like the photos. I wish we could have stayed longer. Our dog loved it there as well; very dog friendly. My daughter wanted to spend her 20th birthday here and it was perfect! We even got to fish. And bring your running and hiking shoes! I easily had 22000 steps in one day. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful. After our check out we headed across the river and enjoyed the view at Chickies Rock. If you like River life and hiking this is for you. Or just to get away and relax or work remotely. I hope to go back. Side note: I heard positive things about the hosts from the neighbors.

Mark’s place was perfect! It was just what our family of four needed for a last-minute getaway. The house is beautiful and unique and we appreciated the basket of goodies. Location’s convenient to Harper’s Ferry, Charles Town, Frederick, Shepherdstown. My husband loved the sauna! Mark was super kind and responsive. We had a wonderful stay!

My children loved the upstairs loft which even had a toilet and sink! The couch was cozy, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had the basics, Joe and his co-hosts were responsive, and we enjoyed using the house as a base camp to explore fishing at the hatchery and going to Harper's Ferry. Thank you!

This was the perfect spot for a long weekend visit to Raystown Lake for mountain biking the Allegrippis Trails. The hosts were prompt in answering questions and providing recommendations! Highly recommended!

We felt right at home the minute we arrived to this very cozy cottage. We enjoyed the back deck to keep our Maximus safe & had a great fire pit night too! Joyce thank you for being so friendly & with great recommendations to visit Adam’s winery & Thirsty Farmer. Our furry baby Maximus Jake had a great time too. Thank you so much! We had a great, relaxing spring break trip. We went to Hershey Chocolate World and Turkey Hill experience. We cooked some amazing steaks on the grill and had the most wholesome meal while there. Although we couldn't venture down to the water it was absolutely beautiful! My children had a relaxing time and enjoyed their stay as well. I look forward to coming back as well as checking out future Airbnbs Tricia hosts.

I loved my stay in the hen house! The farm is beautiful, quiet, and tranquil. You feel like you are in the country but really you are a quick drive to multiple eating and shopping centers. The house is quirky and beatifically decorated with a lovely library. The house was well stocked with appliances, cookware, linens, and various food basics and condiments. I would love to come back for a longer stay one day.

The place was very quiet and tucked away. We stayed here while visiting the car event local to the area, it was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Great hosts and would absolutely stay here again!

The little camp meeting this cottage was located in was the cutest! The house felt cozy yet modern and the porch was the best with lovely evening lighting! Though our stay was brief we will definitely stay longer in the future!
