This ground floor studio is located in a converted warehouse within the city walls. It was converted in 2018 so the interior is in great order and the exterior looks onto water views. With a 5 minute walk to the main historic area/main shopping area and a 2 minute walk to major supermarkets, the studio is well connected. Wifi included. Come and enjoy my cosy little house in a quiet street close to the river. Ideal for exploring historical York, visits to the university and cafes on 'Bishy' Rd. Also, very close to the Races! You can enjoy a south facing garden for relaxed morning coffee or cosy nights in front of the wood burner. The house is my home, you are most welcome to come and visit the wonderful city of York, alongside the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire. On street parking available.

Self-contained peaceful studio, close to York

Modern studio annex to 1850s cottage with its own access, close to to the stunning city of York. Looks onto big family garden, feels like a country retreat but only 20-25 minutes' easy and beautiful river walk from city centre. Well behaved pets welcome. Should the annex be booked for your preferred dates, do look up our shepherds hut. Please note that ‘cancelled dates’ mentioned in the March 2020 reviews were due to government Covid regulations - not us!

Country cottage five miles from the City of York

Naburn Grange Cottage is a farm worker’s cottage attached to an 18th century riverside farmhouse in between the villages of Naburn and Stillingfleet. With easy access to York by car, bus, cycle track or (in the summer months) riverbus, you can explore the city’s history or the beauty of the surrounding countryside. This one-bedroomed cottage is well-equipped and private, with the owners next door for information or advice on your visit.

The cabin is located in a back garden design so that it can’t be seen into by the house or neighbours. It can be accessed from a private lane and has parking for two cars, this peaceful and centrally-located place. The cabin has a projector and screen it can be used as a bedroom or living area, shower and toilet area are open plan. There is a fridge, microwave, iron, hairdryer, coffee machine and kettle.
