The house is spacious and the garden is lovely. We stayed with two toddlers and they loved being able to play safely in the garden while we cooked in the kitchen. Rosaline was welcoming and quick to communicate. Thank you for letting us stay x

Amanda was a lovely host. She was very responsive and helpful when we messaged. The house is deceptively big and there's plenty of room to chill and get ready for busy days. It is very well stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment for if you decide to cook at home. The beds are all doubles and they're very comfy with tonnes of blankets to keep extra cosy if you like! The area is nice with a big beach. We did find that there isn't a great lot to do, so we found ourselves driving quite a lot but if you're a walker, it would be perfect with all the coastal paths. Diamond pizza is a fab place to get a quick bite after a long day so we would definitely recommend there if you're a fan of a mucky tea! If you're wanting to explore the Northumberland coast and find yourself in Bamburgh, we would definitely recommend Creel and Reel seafood trailer for som delicious locally sourced seafood! All in all we have had a wonderful stay with our dogs and found Amanda's place the perfect getaway!

2nd time stayong and was really good value, comfortable and just what we needed for a short break. The home is in a quiet area of stocton which is great. Hosts are very easy to communicate with and responsie to messages. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Ideal hub for myself and kids. Very comfortable, excellent kitchen and fast broadband. Would have preferred a better parking spot as I have a large car and needed to mount full kerb to access parking. I didn’t fancy parking on street as it was adjacent to small junction. Just something to note. Aside from that, very happy. Thank you very much

This was everything I was looking for in a solo retreat. I felt right at home, everything was already set up so didn't need to faf about. The accommodation was pristine and emaculant so no issues about worrying if I need to clean before setting up. When checking in, there is no reception in the area but luckily check in instructions were clear which made it soo much easier.

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

Just wanted to thank Steve and Jane for our recent stay, we only stayed one night as we were passing through on our way somewhere else but the property was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you would need, including tea, coffee milk, not to mention cereal, salt, pepper and ketchup etc. It really was a home away from home and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and/or recommend it to others. Thanks again.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit my elderly father in law, after a long drive it was a lovely place to stay, clean with everything you could need. The garden is completely dog proof which was important to us and it was great to sit out there in the sunshine. There’s a great walk just at the end of the street for Dogs, the village has a great selection of shops/ bakery/restaurants. We’ll be booking again for our next visit

We had a great stay. The apartment is beautiful, immaculately clean and so well located for Cullercoats seaside and Whitley Bay attractions. The decor is beautiful and has been done to a very high specification- it is even nicer than the photos. We would recommend Riley’s Fish Shack (or course), Jam Jar cinema in Whitley Bay attractions- a wonderful independent cinema with a lovely lounge bar, ferry from North to South Shields and the Cullercoats Coffee cafe around the corner. Niel‘s place was great, a secure and quiet location and Niel and Karen were friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was perfect for the two of us for a short visit. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had such a calm, peaceful vibe. The bed and sofa were incredibly comfortable- we slept so well. The setting was idyllic, with sheep and chickens just outside the window, which added so much charm. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh milk and delicious scones on arrival. There were plenty of amenities available, making the stay feel easy and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Second time staying at this unique place. Very comfortable and homely flat with everything that you need. There are some good cafes nearby and a good bar in the Teesdale Hotel. The locals in Middleton in Teesdale are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of good walks from the doorstep and Low/High Force a short drive away. Highly recommend.

Last minute decision to have a night away and Toms place was spot on! Perfect peaceful location, the annexe is gorgeous with everything we could need. The hot tub was dreamy even in the drizzle as the sun went down over the fields. Tom was a great host firing up the hot tub for us and recommending the fabulous Crown Inn for a great dinner! Thank you!

Beautifully furnished apartment. Spacious rooms and great view of the bay from the lounge and bedroom. Well-equipped kitchen.

Fantastic location for a weekend with a 16month old. Spacious bedroom, good quality cot, comfortable living room, well equipped kitchen. Short walk through a nice park with a kids playground and small boating lake, to get to the large sandy beach and the start of a coastal walk. We had no car and manged this trip from London, getting a nice coastal bus to and from Sunderland to the place and a bus back from our coastal walk.

Fabulous apartment with beautiful sea views. Fantastic communication with our very welcoming host. We arrived to lots of special touches which helped us to feel at home from the start! Very comfortable accommodation. Private parking was a bonus. Would definitely book again!

Lovely apartment in a quiet street in the heart of Whitley Bay. The apartment was equipped with everything you need for a stay - also lovely shower and bath. Excellent eateries, shops, and of course, the beach were all within easy walking distance. Our host Helen was absolutely lovely - friendly and approachable, but non interfering, and her communication was clear, friendly and informative. We will certainly book Helen's accommodation again when we visit our family in the area, and will recommend it to other family members and friends.

We had a great 3 night stay, to celebrate a late Christmas with my parents who live in Blyth. The apartment is gorgous, so well decorated and furnished. There was a lovely Christmas tree to greet us too. We arrived around 9.30 pm, found the key in the front lockbox and unloaded up the front stairs. Overall its a great place to stay, the only thing that would stop us staying again is our elderly dog (he's 15) is a bit too doddery for the stairs. The baby gate was a great feature, and meant we had no worries about him going down on his own. The internal stairs lead to the front door just over the road from an amazing park which was perfect for the dogs. Kids would love it too, I grew up in Blyth, such happy memories of Ridley Park!

Another fantastic stay at Michael and Elaine’s sea view apartment. Who needs good weather when you have that amazing view! Michael and Elaine are great hosts who provide an excellent experience for visitors. The apartment is beautifully designed reflecting Michael’s artistic and creative work. On this visit we noticed a new air fryer which is a great addition. For us it’s a great Airbnb that feels so homely. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to cook in with all the amenities you have at home. The showroom is high quality and has great water pressure too. Locally we enjoyed the Durango lounge which provides a wonderful atmosphere in the old roller rink that my Mum can never remember and great up to date food. The Castle View Inn is another great place along the sea front. Originally (my Mum tells me) the Park Hotel, again a great place to eat and also has a yummy ice cream parlour. Can’t wait to return! Brian’s apartment was exactly as described ,clean and tidy with everything needed for our stay. Great location ten minutes from St Games Park by foot and the city centre, Quayside is about 15 minutes walk. We were there for the Football so it was perfect for us.
