House was lovely and clean,beds were made up ready which was a god send, tea/coffee on hand quick to respond and very friendly, would definitely visit again and highly recommend

Stayed for only one night to break up a long journey. Dog walk straight from the house in beautiful surroundings and good local pub for dinner. Will definitely favourite this Airbnb as we will be back!

I was comfortable and felt safe in Ellen's house. Easy street parking. No outside noise nice and peaceful. Everything you need in an Airbnb. Excellent communication from Ellen she couldn't do enough. I'd book again for sure.

We have just returned from a relaxing stay in Steph’s lovely peaceful house in the gorgeous village of Wylam. The house was perfect for our family of 4. An extra single bed was provided for the kids and they loved the cuddly mice on the bed. We enjoyed the log burner on a cosy night in and playing the board games. The kitchen was perfectly kitted out for cooking and really appreciated the milk, tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate that welcomed us! The village has some relaxing walks, park and pubs! Perfect to get the train into Newcastle too. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Lovely clean and tastefully decorated house, everything there that you could want while away from home. Really well stocked kitchen, so you can make a variety of meals if required. Beds really comfy and the street is very quiet so slept like a log! All the rooms were a really good size, more than enough room for a family of 4. Location was great for our needs (visiting family), the town is within walking distance so really handy. Richard was very responsive to messages and really friendly. All in all a really positive experience and will definitely stay there again.

Chris is, simply, an EXCELLENT host. And the house is out of this world. Can’t say enough about both - we’ll be back and we’d encourage anyone to go and enjoy this stunning place.

Booked Sammy’s place originally for my parents but unfortunately due to ill-health there were unable to make the journey up from Manchester however, I was delighted when my sister said that she was available. Sammy’s place is a hidden gem. I personally live in Hexham and cannot recommend Ian & Susan’s beautiful Accommodation any stronger than this, ‘Quite simply, the best accommodation in Hexham’. The location is perfect to get around the town, especially if you have difficulty walking as it is literally situated a stones through from the high street. There is plenty to do in Hexham being spoilt for choice when it comes to local Independant shops, a theatre, cinema, multiple pubs, bars and restaurants as well as the gorgeous Sele Park and surrounding area. Sammy’s place is a great place to stay with everything you need to feel completely at home; love this place and Susan & Ian are the perfect hosts. Thank you for making my sisters visit to Hexham a memorable one, Warm Regards

Absolutely blown away by this property, it was immaculate throughout and some really unique features. everything was clean and lots of extras included for breakfast. The bed was super comfy. Carla was very welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond for us during our stay. We will definitely come back again.

Great location, bonus of having a parking permit provided. Surprisingly quiet given the busy location. Immaculate, well designed space well equipped. Lisa & Steve are good hosts who have added lots of nice welcome touches.

Linda’s flat was ideally located for our stay, only 15 minutes walk to the Freeman Hospital and five mins to the Metro. Parking in the area was easy, too, which helped. Linda was lovely and couldn’t be more helpful during our stay.

Great location, great apartment, really comfortable and a lovely place to stay in a fantastic town. Parking spot and the lovely big living room with views over the town a big bonus too.

Wir haben uns von Anfang an super wohlgefühlt! Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und bietet mit der Lage einen tollen Rückzugsort aus dem Trubel von Newcastle. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt und man kann sich von Beginn an wie zu Hause fühlen :) Die Kommunikation mit Anthony war sehr einfach und stets sehr freundlich. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter und bedanken uns bei den tollen Gastgebern ;)
