Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

Great experience. Cabin was gorgeous. Mountain View was spectacular. We enjoyed Sunrise from the front porch and sunset from the fire pit. Very secluded but close enough to neighbors to feel safe.

Amazing house with so much to do. The house is nicer than even the photos could relay, something not typical of rental properties. We had an amazing long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer.

This place was perfect!! We had 4 families and there was plenty of space. The view of the lake was beautiful and it had so many comforts of home. We will definitely come again. AvantStay was so responsive if we had any questions!

We enjoyed our stay at the Wylies retreat. The home was very spacious. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. Overall our stay was a 10/10. Will be returning

We had such an amazing time! The view was astounding! The peace and tranquility that cam with drinking coffee in a quiet setting, while looking at the mountain ranges. Or that relaxing feeling of unwinding in a hot tub, and watching the sun set behind the peaks. We will DEFINITELY be coming back!!

Ranin's listing was definitely worth every dollar for our family. My daughter's college graduation was there, and her boyfriend proposed!!! It was a great space and weekend for all of these milestones & our large family to visit with us. Know that this space sleeps 16 but there are not 16 beds. We had the ladies stay upstairs b/c 3 of the 5 full and queen beds are all in the same room; keep that in mind when booking with co-ed guests. Quiet time starts at 9pm but the neighbors don't seem to like noise/music, so plan on shutting down an hour early if you're outside and/or just crank it down a lot, so not to disturb neighbors on either side. Overall, GREAT, BEAUTIFUL stay! The host was not as responsive as I would have liked initially but they definitely provided all information that was needed to have a great check in & out with a successful and pleasant stay! We have a large family; this is one of the few air bnb's that allowed us the space to celebrate together! Thank you!

We found this property so well appointed with all of the necessary items we might have lacked. Because of its location and the possibility of being stranded due to in-climate weather, Jason has stocked many items of which a person might need in the event they didn’t bring enough supplies for a few days. We looked at the food items that are stored as being a backup in the event we were stranded for a few days. Fortunately, for us, we over supply ourselves because other properties we have utilized were completely less supplied. We found that all the bases were covered for food, spices, dishes, snacks, as well as things like the barbecue grill and outdoor fire pit. We were very impressed with how the house was supplied and set up for a renter. It was almost like we walked into our own home with supplies existing. We were glad to have this wonderful experience, and would consider it in the future again.

Christy's property was exactly what we needed for a girls trip to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. Every detail was thoughtful down to snacks for when we first got there to amenities in the bathroom in case we forgot things at home. The property itself was gorgeous and had so many places to hand out and relax. Christy was great to provide clear instructions to help us navigate the property as well. Could definitely see many more trips here in the future!

This is a great location if you are going for Lake Norman. There is great boat parking and is close to restaurants and grocery. Highly recommend

My family and I lost our home and everything inside the day before we stayed here. I couldn't express what joy it was to feel safe and clean in such a nice place after the disaster. Thank you for the hospitality and generosity with the thoughtful snacks, coffee, water, and available alcoholic and non-alcoholic wines and ciders. We would absolutely stay here again, as it truly was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in

I stayed with my three kids aged 4, 8, and 11. There was plenty of space for a comfortable stay. We had dinner on the back porch listening to the sounds of the water. The space provided everything for a relaxing stay and we all really enjoyed exploring down by the river. Would love to come back someday!

My husband and I and our two dogs stayed over a long weekend, and didn’t want to leave, we loved it so much! What stood out upon first arriving was that the home is in an old golf community, didn’t realize when I booked. The golf course is no longer in use for playing, but the fields are beautiful for walking! There are lovely ponds, a creek, and old paved golf cart trails. The cabin is a dream because of the privacy, there is no one around! It’s so peaceful and quiet, and sitting on the deck you can hear the trees creaking when the wind blows, which was neat! The windows on the cabin brought in so much beautiful light during the day, and at night you can see the stars. The cabin was super clean, and had everything we needed to cook in the lovely kitchen. We slept in the king size bed downstairs which was very comfortable. The decor was really cute, with a mid century modern aesthetic. If you’re considering staying, just do it, you’ll love it! We will be staying again in the future.

Beautiful and relaxing little cabin by a pond. Great for excursions to hiking spots in the region. Joey was very helpful and responsive. Be aware that there is no stove/oven, but there is a microwave and gas grill. We really enjoyed using the grill, which is on a patio overlooking the pond!

My daughter’s HS Softball team travelled from Ohio to play in an Easter tournament in Hickory. We didn’t want to stay in a hotel like the team and were lucky to book the cabin for most of the week! We felt very prepared for the drive down the narrow road thanks to detailed messages and pictures that were sent days in advance. Once to the cabin, we didn’t want to leave merely because it was perfect. Had everything we needed and provided a wonderful resting place for fishing (although there were more snags than bites) and porch time reading. Loved how easy it was to get into Hickory and got to experience some amazing restaurants (Olde Hickory Station and Hickory Social) as well as time on The Riverwalk and enjoying Union Square when we weren’t at the fields of Stanford Park. If we ever head south again, this will definitely be a place we’d come back to.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. It’s a great location to take day trips and go out for meals. The home was in great condition and had what we needed. Danielle was very responsive. The pontoon boat is an amazing feature to have and we enjoyed taking it out. The hill to get to the lake from the house was quite steep and may be difficult for some people to navigate - just something to be aware of. The actual home / host / experience were all excellent!

Alicia & John were lovely hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. There were extra towels & washcloths for our family of five. Lots of great info in their guest binder. Covered pier was an amazing place to spend mornings & evenings. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property location was perfect on the Lake and close to Restaurants and shopping. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and highlights of the area.

The place was better than what is expected. Stayed with 13 & two 17 year olds and they loved it. Had a great time and enjoyed the tour and the history and very, very comfortable accommodations.

We used David’s place as our Spring Break getaway. We really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and fire pit! The house was very clean and the beds, pillows, and comforters were very comfortable! The house is easy to get to with easy access from road, but had great privacy. Great spot to unwind and relax after a full day of activities.

So quiet and relaxing! And the house had everything you would need, the host even let me call her so she could explain the tv/projector! Loved the place!
