Tillamook Forest Cottage Retreat (25 Min To Coast)

Relax at Porcupine Cottage. 600 sq foot cottage on the Trask River 15 miles from town. 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, (1 queen bed in bedroom, and a twin sleeper sofa in living room. Kitchen has a full size refrigerator, microwave, griddle, countertop mini oven and dbl hotplate. Access to the river is across our meadow and down a steep trail. We also offer a wood fired pizza making experience (see below for details). All of this while experiencing rural Oregon. We are on 6 acres with only a few neighbors.

The Cabin

Whimsical cabin in the woods! This tiny house is 288 square feet on one floor. It has a queen size murphy "bed in a box." It boasts a full size bathroom and kitchen. Like many rural tiny homes, the unit is equipped with a composting toilet. As an option there is also a portable toilet adjacent to the cabin. Nestled in the foothills of the Tillamook Forest, the cabin is on a beautifully forested property with gardens, decks, trails, etc. A private drive & ample parking round out the amenities.

So you know: - Nearest market is about 10 miles away. We'll provide some basic things for the kitchen. - Guest house sits 50 yards from main house but is separate with lots of privacy.

Welcome to Laurel house! We are located just blocks from Pacific University and 3 blocks from the Grand Lodge. Some easy outings could be to Portland, the Oregon coast, or to the many local brew pubs, and 7 wineries within 5 miles. Our guests have use of the main space including: a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a full bath with a jetted tub, and open living space. Amenities: WiFi, TV, work space, the front yard, patio, and one off street parking space, additional street parking is available.

This lovely tree top space is attached to our home and includes separate entry, complete privacy in the unit, has its own upstairs deck, and includes the use of our shared lower deck and hot tub. The kitchen is a "kitchenette" with no stove, but we do provide a single burner hot plate. Come practice "Shin Rin Yoku", the the stress- reducing essence of the forest. Trails, benches and platforms throughout the property provide a place to sit, enjoy the clean air, meditate, or do yoga.
