Wow ! Your own private oasis -the location provides you with so much to do . We brought our own snorkelling gear and ended up in the water with sea lions around with blue footed boobies diving from above . The sea lions love massaging themselves in the rocks and blowing bubbles underwater. The pier is an added bonus with resident sea lions basking in the sun and marine iguanas lounging. We drank our coffee every morning and soaked in the wildlife . We also loved our private walkway into town and the boat service which ran continuously. The restaurants on the peninsula are storybook beautiful and boho inspired . The drinks are inventive and the food full of fresh and local ingredients. The market is right near the pier in Puerta Eyora where you can get ice , beer and snacks . We were comfortable and happy as clams. We loved the town as well with sea lions resting everywhere . Just go !

Alexandra was a great host! Answered all our questions and was available for help whenever needed. Location is great, place is clean, overall very good experience. Would recommend!

We loved our stay. The house is in a great location, walkable to everything you need. The caretaker was super helpful, she helped us with a laundry service, made us dinner our first night, and cleaned our place during our stay. The home was clean, cute and it was nice to have the kitchen amenities during our stay. The air conditioning kept us cool at night, and we slept great. I would recommend this place for any families visiting Santa Cruz.

Excellent stay. We enjoyed renting bikes to go out to the Darwin Foundation. 1835 coffee and Midori sushi were both recommendations that we took from the host - absolutely wonderful experiences at both. Very unique stay in a beautiful “tree house”. Beautiful decor and touches throughout the home. It was everything we wanted and we’d definitely stay again!

The suite is in a great location on the way to Tortuga Bay. Quiet and comfortable, I had everything I needed for a long stay. Nestled in a residential neighborhood the suite is peaceful and close enough to town that you can walk everywhere. I did appreciate the air conditioning as it was very hot and humid during my stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Great place for a family it could be bigger, however everything was as described and the price should be lower as not close to main areas as walking can take a good 15mins or more depends on people really. beds and furniture very good and comfortable as well as tv with smart functions.

First, let me just say, I am giving this place a five star because it represented exactly what it said it was, it is a budget room for a transient traveler. I had one night in Puerto Ora, so this was perfect to save me a ton of money But so give me the basics that I needed. A warm bed and a hot shower. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, this is not the place. But if you want cheap, clean, efficient accommodations you have found your place. Staff were super friendly to check in, and the place was quiet.

The stay was great and chilled. Not a lot of interactions or communication with the host but he was responsive when needed. It would be good to consider having a weekly tidy up and cleaning of the room for long staying guests.
