Tolle Unterkunft, sauber und gemütlich – wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt! ☺️ Die Kommunikation mit Sandra war super. Mit dem Amsterdam Region & Travel Tickets war es super einfach nach Amsterdam zu gelangen. Tolle Anbindungen. Absolute Empfehlung!

This is a terrific location in a nice area of the city center, right along a pretty canal. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The central train station is a 10 minute walk. The apartment has a relatively large living space with a bedroom area and convertible sofa. There was plenty of dishware and utensils for dining at “home”. There was also a washing machine but no dryer, so we did not use the washer but it was available with clothes pins etc. for hang drying. The bathroom had a clean shower with nice hot water and plenty of supplies like soap, shampoo and conditioner. Douwe was extremely responsive to our needs. We arrived early but he generously allowed us to check in while he finished cleaning the bathroom. He made us feel that he’d be available if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Amsterdam.

This was a beautiful place. It was much better than I imagined. It is the first Ike staying at a boat house and I don’t think we could have got a better experience. Both Rob and Karin were very responsive and took care of our needs immediately. The bedroom above is very spacious. Only thing to note is that the bathroom is only downstairs. It worked out fine for us. I highly recommend this place for a stay for max 3 people.

The apartment was very clean and had all that we needed. Came as advertised. Host was very clear with communication and responded promptly. Great place to stay!!

Die Lage der Wohnung ist mega zentral, optimal für einen Städtetip in Alkmaar und den Besuch des Käsemarkts. Die Käseboote fahren direkt vor dem Fenster vorbei. Die Aussicht auf die Gracht & das Wahrzeichen von Alkmaar usw. ist total schön. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Johnson ist ein zuvorkommender, freundlicher Gastgeber und reagiert schnell auf Fragen. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiter ( zumindest wenn du zu Fuß fit bist, da die Treppe zur Wohnung sehr steil ist)....gerne wieder beim nächsten Besuch in Alkmaar.

Super mooie accommodatie. Zeker de moeite! Niet zo ver van Amsterdam en makkelijk bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer!

Logement tres agreable pour un couple ey 4 ados. Deplacement aisé pour visiter Amsterdam , belles promenades, plusieurs restaurants tout près. Nous recommandons.

Heel fijn verblijf gehad. Alles wat aanwezig en fijne communicatie.

Met heel veel plezier hier verbleven. De omgeving is prachtig en rustig. Het huis was heel schoon en van alles voorzien. De host is aardig en behulpzaam. Ik kom zeker een keer terug.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in der Unterkunft von George und Irene und es hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Alles ist sehr sauber, sieht genau wie auf den Bildern aus und ist ruhig gelegen. Zum Strand und in das kleine Örtchen kann man entweder laufen oder in wenigen Minuten mit dem Fahrrad fahren. Wir können die Unterkunft nach wie vor sehr weiterempfehlen.

Twee nachtjes hier verbleven met mijn kinderen. We hebben genoten van het huis! Heel compleet ingericht, alles was aanwezig was in de mooie keuken. Ondanks het slechte weer hebben we ons uitstekend vermaakt!

This house was a gem of a find! We loved staying right on the water (and despite the cold, our son loved swimming), having access to the boat (which we took to dinner one night!), and just the peace and relaxation of watching the water and boats go by. You feel like you’re in the middle of no where, and yet we were a very short drive to all that we wanted to do - Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Amsterdam, and even the coast! We walked to get coffee in the mornings and enjoyed the walk and the town. We also love that it’s dog friendly! We changed our minds last minute and didn’t take our dog along, but we were wishing we had. He would’ve loved the canal and boat!

Het huis was zoals omschreven. Verbleven hier met 4 volwassenen en een hond en hadden ruimte genoeg. Het was erg schoon zoals de badkamer en vloeren en er was geen stofje te vinden. Ook in oktober konden we genieten van het terras. Er zijn ook leuke spelletjes, boeken en films aanwezig. Vanuit het huis kun je leuk wandelen in Lemmer of richting de Brekken. Fijne host Evert is heel prettig in de communicatie.

Lovely little cottage right on the water. The house is exactly as described, perfectly clean and well maintained. The location is fantastic, right on the water but also with a small pool that our children delighted in. A fun canoe and boat to take a tour around the surrounding waters. Highly recommend for a peaceful few days with children.

We can highly recommend Ingrid’s apartment in Amsterdam North. Ingrid was very friendly and personable. She sent clear instructions prior to our visit on how to find the apartment. We took the metro from Amsterdam Central station and then walked to the apartment which took about 20 mins. The apartment itself is very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and in a quiet residential area, though there are quite a few passers by and cyclists but this was not a problem at all. One feature is Ingrid provides the use of two bicycles which are brilliant, it meant we could cycle into central Amsterdam via the free ferry in about 15 mins. Ingrid also provided recommendations for local restaurants/cafes which was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation returning.

Die Wohnung ist super gemütlich und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal. Man ist in 5 Minuten Fußweg in der Innenstadt. Trotzdem ist ruhig. Die Kommunikation mit Majsa war top. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein und Etwas zum Knuspern. Es war rundum schön. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Vielen lieben Dank!

We had a great stay at Joze’s Amsterdam apartment!! Great communication with the owners, a lovely natural light apartment with balcony and easy transportation options ( 2 tram lines within a 6 minute walk). Joze makes it very clear about the steep canal house stairs. The two flights are steep but there are lights and railings which I appreciated as I’m in my 70’s. We loved our stay in this peaceful neighborhood.

Wir waren als Mutter und Tochter Gespann mit drei kleinen Kindern in dieser Unterkunft und könnten zufriedener nicht sein. Die Wohnung ist super geschmackvoll eingerichtet, vom Sofa aus hat man Meerblick. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, das Bad ist komplett neu und die Ausstattung für unser Baby war hervorragend. Danke!

Where to begin? The location is devine, it is on the fourth canal so it’s still touristy but feels like a more local experience. It is right across from this gorgeous church and the bells sound lovely. I actually feel like this Airbnb is underrated. Could I give it 6 stars? The pictures of the Airbnb don’t have a good photo of the back courtyard, but it had lovely birds chirping and parrots as well as purple, orange, and red flowers. One night my mom and I had a dinner out there and it was splendid. The location is also almost right across from the Anne Frank Hous and I can’t believe the reviews don’t reflect that because it was so convenient getting to. I’m also an avid runner and the area, although full of pedestrians and bikers, was the perfect runners paradise. There was so much to see and it made me feel like I got to know the city more intimately. The host was also so nice when we first arrived and told us about all the amazing things Amsterdam has to offer!
