Downtown Salida Home - Perfect Location!

We love Salida and this location was absolutely perfect - right along the Monarch path and easy access to downtown shopping and restaurants. Also close to parks/playgrounds for my young kids who were traveling with us. The house is quaint, but has everything you need. Lots of beautiful sunlight and a great spot for a quick spring break getaway. Host was responsive and very helpful. We'll be back!

Cozy 3 Bed 2 Bath With Hot tub and patio fireplace

We came here for a girls weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, the hosts were great and we loved the hot tub in the evening. It was also super close to the “downtown” canon city area which we loved.

Adorable A Frame in Salida. Pets ok, fenced yard

Jaime's place is the perfect location for our family! We have 2 large dogs and this is the most welcoming and inclusive Airbnb for our pups that we have stayed at. So much so, that we stayed in December 2024 and returned this March. We felt so at home and at ease because of this warm welcome dogs get here. A giant plus about Jaime's location is that this entire home is surrounded with a fence--front and back. So our pups were able to run around the house and check out things, while still being completely fenced in and secure. Very helpful if they have to be let out in the middle of the night! The house is super clean, the kitchen is really well stocked with everything needed to cook. Jaime is very responsive to messages and was very proactive in reaching out to us throughout our stay to make sure we had all we need. This location is a 30 minute drive from Monarch and a few minutes away from incredible hikes and downtown. We LOVE staying here! Thank you for your love and care Jaime!

CHARMING FARMHOUSE WITH WOOD FIREPLACE AND LOFT

The house was absolutely amazing. The view from the upstairs patio was spectacular. The stars were so clear at night. It was breathtaking. The only negative side is that we were not able to use the fireplace due to an unfortunate death of a bird, which is no representation on the host of this spectacular house. I will definitely be staying there again the next time I’m in the neighborhood.

Spacious Salida Mountain Home (#0529)

This 4 bedroom 3 bath Salida rental was the perfect size, configuration, and location for our family of 10. The kitchen was quite spacious and well-equipped, and a gas grill was available on the back patio as well. Furnishings, beds, and linens were clean, attractive, and comfortable. It is a short pleasant walk to this historic town for shopping, good food, and a wide variety of water activities...(including surfing!) on the Arkansas River. Our super host, Charles, provided clear, thorough and helpful information. His quick responses to any questions or concerns we may have had made the whole process stress free from start to finish. Our family had a wonderful time in this Salida rental, and would highly recommend it as an ideal place to gather and enjoy!

Karen and her home are amazing. We had a rough travel day and Karen responded quickly to welcome us and help us find much needed resources. The house is adorable, cozy, and had everything we needed. We felt very at home and i know that our trip went as well as it did because of Karens hospitality and beautiful home.

Quiet and convenient location, Walk to downtown!

First, take a photo of the key code and text to your group. I did not and left my phone in the house. So, yes, I locked us out. Everything was on my phone. My friend sent a message through AirBnB to Wendy explaining what happened. She called her right away and got us back in the house. Phew! The house is a 10-minute walk to downtown Salida, which is so cute. Full of shops, places to each, art galleries, stores for kids, an arcade, etc. One can walk to the grocery too. The house had everything we needed. It is nicely maintained, quiet and comfortable. Our only issue was the one bathroom. We managed with it. If you have a teen who takes forever anytime they in the bathroom, this could be a problem. Plenty of hot water for several showers in a row and lots of towels. Really like having the washer/dryer access even a drying rack. I would stay here again!

Secluded Royal Gorge Region Foothills Hideaway

First of all, Rebecca was beyond super sweet and respectful my entire stay there. I enjoyed the coziness and warmth of the entire basement area very much! loved all the decor and it made me feel like i was at my parents. They have amazing coffee for you to get your day started in the morning or stay up and work on homework assignments. Absolutely loved the area where it was located as well! Anywhere that has mountains is a great place for some photos. As I was heading out I stopped and talked to Rebecca for a bit. You can feel and hear the kindness from her as you share a conversation. I would rate it a spectacular 5/5. Thanks again Rebecca! appreciate y'alls hospitality and kindness.

Salida Church House - Heart of Downtown Salida

Can’t say enough good things about Tom and Leanne’s place. It was home the minute we walked in. We felt extremely safe here. Very good parking areas. Very comfy lay out with great furniture and amazing decor. All the beds super comfy great quality linens. Well stocked kitchen and laundry facilities. The festive lighted two tier side porch and fenced in yard was a huge hangout spot. The location was everything. Walkable to 2 parks great restaurants a thrift store and great shopping including Several vintage shops. We will definitely return next year. Salida is a gem and Tom and Leanne’s place is the best Gem of all.

We had a great stay here! Would definitely book again in the future. Walking distance to all of downtown, where you can find great restaurants and a lot of things to do! Highly recommend!

Beautiful well-furnished home near downtown restaurants, park and river. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Our family of 4 had plenty of room. We brought our dog, which was a huge treat for us, and she loved getting to walk around the town. She is a bit particular with where she potties and since there wasn’t a yard with grass at the house, we had to walk her to the park each time, but it’s just a short walk across the street. Overall, this house and its location can’t be beat! Wendy is a great host! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Mountain Jungalow, 3 min walk to Royal Gorge Train

I loved our stay at Cañon City. So close to everything. Walked to dinner and took Joseph’s advice on restaurant and it did not disappoint. The house is large and loved the rustic feel. Beds were comfortable and had everything we needed. Very relaxing stay and great Royal Gorge train ride.

The most amazing home with breathtaking views!! I would give this home an 20/10 if I could! If anyone has an opportunity to book this home, don’t think twice about it. It’ll be worth every penny spent. The BEST AIRBNB I’ve ever stayed in!!!

Spacious, clean and well located for trails and outdoor access (although other side of town for Shelf access). Short drive into town. Good communication. Fun basement games!
