Amazing location and very comfortable place to stay! Just the sandflies on dusk were a nuisance as they pack a fiercesome bite!

Beautiful cottage unit located on a working farm that was peaceful and serene. Had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place to others. Met the host and she was absolutely wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!

The place was very well thought out, organised and presented. Located in a nice and quiet area, few minutes from the Franz Josef town. Modern facilities, good wifi, responsive water heating with very good water pressure. Phoebe is very responsive and provided clear fast communication. Highly recommended!!

A lovely place with aesthetic decor and even a bathtub outside. It has two stories. The bottom level is with the kitchen and lounge and upstairs is the bedroom. Richard was really friendly and even greeted us and they provided a complimentary bottle of insect repellent which was much needed. Also the pebble beach nearby has a beautiful landscape even though it’s too rough to lie down on.

What a perfect place to stay. The place exceeded expectations and is even better than the photos and descriptions suggests. The fireplace worked flawlessly and was stocked with plenty of firewood and kindling to use. The beds had nice pillows and sheets that were warm and enveloping - and one bed had an electric blanket which was useful on a cold night. The outdoor bathtub was the highlight of the trip - the view of the Milky Way from a hot bath in a secluded area was something special - even saw a couple of shooting stars. The home is a quick 4 minute drive to Franz Josef town if you’re looking for restaurants or the grocery store. Can’t recommend this place more. What a special two nights we had there. A unique and special experience! Outdoor bath in the moonlight was definitely a highlight. Kath, Dan and family were friendly and welcoming.

A beautiful little house. High level toiletries, coffee, tea, crockery. The wine and chocolates were appreciated. The house is advertised as secluded but the other house is only meters away and easily seen from the deck. The lake is more a dam and as far as we could see only calf deep - not at all suitable for swimming. Nowhere to unpack or store clothes. A few kilometres from Franz Josef township.

Isaac's place was perfect for us. slightly away from the township, so the peace and quiet was truly appreciated. The cherry on top was the spectacular view when we awesome in the morning. Thanks so much Isaac, if we are ever in the area again, the cottages will be on our list. Jo and Kev

Cute cottage, easy to find, with gorgeous bush surrounds. A bit out of town, but an easy drive to the shops. Everything we needed for our stay in Franz Joseph.
