It was so nice not having stairs to climb to get in! It’s tucked away nicely, private, peaceful, lovely board walk to the bay side! Very clean and easy to keep clean. We had a very relaxing trip and stay!

Excellent location, amazing views of St. George bay and a couple of blocks away from the gulf. A true treasure of an area with minimal crowds and friendly folks. Quick response to any questions we had while there, within minutes. Sunsets, sunrises, and stars at night were unbelievable.

William has everything we needed on hand. He was extremely helpful with recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely come back.

I really don’t know where to start with all the joys of this experience. From the moment you pull into the covered, and paved outdoor park and play area, you know it’s different. Jackie is not a robot hosting you in a cookie cutter home. She is someone who really knows the area and what you need to have the most relaxing stay. You have everything you need. I can’t tell you how many times, my husband and I would look at each other and say, “OMG!, it has this or it has that!” The saloon and generous welcome gift is something I never experienced renting a home. The home is very comfortable with views that immediately set your soul at ease. The outdoor space is where we spent 80% of our time. From the beach to the porch, you have every luxury you need to unwind and reconnect in the salty breeze. Sunrise and sunset photos are stunning. The best part is that my dog Mallie, who is a member of our family, was not only permitted but spoiled with amenities just for her. You deserve to book it.

This place was a DREAM! You know when you're at the beach and you see some condos and you think, "I wish I was staying there..." THIS IS THAT PLACE! My kids AND my husband were pumped that it had a Monopoly theme so of course, we played. :) This place is super charming...also, everything you need is there...we didn't buy charcoal or even a lighter. Kitchen stocked great, excellent spot for the kids to hang out...and this condo is right in the middle of everything...walk everywhere! Yay! My boy played basketball every day (30 steps from the condo) grocery 3-4 minute walk, the lighthouse, the shopping, the food, I parked when we got there and never got in my car again! Note, if you have an electric car there is a spot to charge less than1/4 mile walk at the buccaneer inn. My husband drove separate, EV no problem! We had a great time! It was clean and perfect and right on the beach, the BEST!

This place is a gem! The house has everything you need including pool, hot tub, large yard, a great dock for fishing and watching the dolphins or the sunset. The location is perfect; just far enough away from everything to be quiet and private but close enough for a trip to downtown Appalachicola for shopping and dining, St. George Island for the beach, or state forests for hiking. Sara was a great host, easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful place to create lifelong memories with family and friends! The home was very spacious and was furnished with almost everything you need for your stay! Our family throughly enjoyed our time!

The house itself was fantastic and the furnishings were well above my expectations, all was extremely clean and everything you could possibly need away from home. I do wish I had known the laundry was on the bottom floor, completely separate from the living space and the trash situation was extremely aggravating, it is terrible having to haul trash appropriately 30 miles away for a family of 4 on a week’s vacation. The laundry and trash are workable situations, but there was one thing that will keep us from visiting Alligator Point again. This issue has nothing to do with the house just about the area of Alligator Point. The municipality or whoever makes the decision for the community itself needs more public beach parking. It is ridiculous how few parking spots there are for the size of the beach. When family members are unable to leave and come back to your set area on multiple days because of parking limitations, it certainly puts a damper on the week.

Clean clutter-free home in a beautiful setting on a private beach. Loved it and will be back and next time for pleasure not work!

Lori communicated extremely well. Check-in was a breeze. Just open the back door and walk the path right to the beach! House was clean and comfortable. I traveled with three of my sisters and our mother. Fresh local seafood was delicious! We will definitely be back! Thanks, Lori!

Absolutely loved our stay! We saw dolphins feet from the porch every day. So quiet and peaceful. Amazinggggg views, super clean house and property, lovely neighborhood, and great amenities. Make sure to get your necessities before getting to the house as shopping is not close by. We will definitely be back!!

Super relaxing spring break! We loved the condo, loved the huge backyard. Condo had everything we needed, dishes/towels/cleaning supplies/pool toys, goggles, board games.. very welcoming feel. Went fishing most of our trip, and went to fill out the guest books d a friend showed up, after we left, we realized we never finished our journaling! We’ll fix that on the next trip. Definitely staying again!

Beautiful accommodations on the water. Close to FSU if you are visiting a college student which we were. Little bit of a drive to St George island beaches with shopping and restaurants. Worth the drive.

The second story condo, was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for two older adults bicycling in the area on a short stay. There are two pleasant and private balconies. One overlooks the bay and the other overlooks the boat docking area. We enjoyed sitting at the table on the bay balcony for snacks, coffee and the big water view. Pleasant breeze and few annoying sand gnats. You do have the same expansive view from the inside as well, which is a nice retreat. This gated grounds area has several different buildings. All seem well kept and it was very quiet on our weekday stay. It was convenient to the bike trails we wanted to ride and the two state parks, Bald Point and Ocklocknee, that we wanted to visit. The internet access was adequate for us, we did have to reconnect occasionally. The place was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our stay in a low key part of old Florida that is fast disappearing. Would return for another visit. Easy place to like.

probably the cleanest Airbnb we've been to.. but no open restaurants in area... if I have any suggestions it would be to replace sofa with something more comfortable

We had a wonderful time at Julio‘s condo. It was quite spacious and perfect for a couple. It was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I was just a short distance from the beach and on the quiet end of the island.

Jenna was an amazing host. Her home is very lovely and welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and relaxing to sit on the balcony to watch the waves and hear the sound of the ocean. We even saw dolphins which was very exciting. My family enjoyed playing in the sand , water and even fishing.

Spent two months at Drift Away. The condo is very large/spacious, clean and centrally located in Carrabelle. Michelle was very helpful during our stay. While visiting I suggest St. Port Joe and the town of Appalachiacola. We spent time at Harry’s Bar and found the locals charming. Morning Bite for breakfast was a regular stop for us! Definitely recommend Drift Away!
