Fort Kochi: soggiorni in B&B

I loved my stay at Le Lind’s Homestay. The meals were my favorite part. Linda is a great cook and the breakfast and dinner options I tried were all delicious. The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. The room was very clean and I appreciated that the AC worked well as it quite hot and humid. Please take Linda’s suggestions for tours, cooking classes, and the local dance performance. Fort Kochi is a beautiful place with a lot to see and Le Linda’s Homestay is a great base.

Sajeer was extremely friendly. we were stuck in traffic, waiting for a ferry ride to cross the river but due to Christmas influx we had to wait for more than 2.5 hours in queue. Sajeer has been giving directions in the phone what we should be doing and he even offered to bring food for us. When we checked in, he was very friendly, the process was quick and easy. The bfadt served was quite humble, tasty and home cooked. The location is very near to a lot of good places to visit. 100% recommended stay!

Anthony hat mir aus einer unglücklichen Situation geholfen, indem ich einfach sofort, nach erster Kontakraufnahne kommen konnte. Er hat sehr viele interessante Sachen erklärt und auch eine ganz tolle Backwater Tour vermittelt. Vielen lieben Dank für das Gefühl Zuhause zu sein!

Während unseres Aufenthaltes bei Swami und Amma haben wir uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Swami hat uns morgens durch aktive Meditation begleitet und Amma und ihre Helfer haben uns köstlich bekocht. Wir haben während des Aufenthaltes Behandlungen im örtlichen Ayurvedakrankenhaus wahrgenommen, dass war spannend und wohltuend, die Organisation lief sehr gut durch unsere Gastgeber. Beautiful place and good stay . Very responsive hosts.

Host Anitha is an angel. She provides great and clean facilities and looks out for you wherever she can. She advises you on what to do in the area and is interested in people. You can have a lovely chit-chat with her, if you want, or just retreat into your own space.

There are 3 rooms situated on the 1st floor, I had the chance to get the one with a big balcony facing the main street. It was extremely clean, nice and bright and its windows-doors had very useful mosquito screens. There was a comfortable double bed, a ceiling fan and aircon (really needed during my stay), a small desk and a little suspended ‘cupboard’ for the clothes and a modern beautiful private bathroom. There’s a fridge on the 1st floor that guests can use and of course, an available equipped kitchen. Very well located, the whole apartment is well thought (a recent construction), you notice that Colbridge and his wife Shalini care about their home stay business; they are a good team, pretty well organized working together. Colbridge, the brain of the hospitality services, sent me through whatsapp dozens of information related to history, places to visit and food. He is very knowledgeable (not only about Kochi) and it was good to exchange with him. Besides, he can help you to organize trips, call a tuk tuk and find solutions for your queries. Shalini is the heart of the place… she is welcoming, warm, intelligent and sweet, with a great sense of humour. A gifted cook, she prepares wonder ful breakfasts (Indian, European, American…), tailored to requests. I admired how she cared about guest’s well-being even when she was very busy. Shalini likes to exchange with her hosts and she gave me an unique opportunity to learn more about the culture. She is a very good company too, I will not forget all our laughters and hope to stay with them again. I fully recommend this place for your stay.

It’s a simple stay with basic amenities which is worth the price, Sheeba is very responsive, friendly and upto the point. She also provided us Breakfast without any extra price which is very nice of her and also agreed to a small personal favour. I’d recommend this property to anyone who’s up for a budget friendly and looking for something which is near to prominent places as well!

The thing is Thomas is such an incredibly nice person. You’ll never feel awkward and he’s very helpful. I would stay there again just because of him but it’s clean and the location is very handy. For the price you can’t go wrong.
