Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Our little Honey House was designed to be a luxury honeymoon home for our wedding venue. We have high quality bathroom and bedroom linens. The kitchen is stocked with beautiful stainless steel appliances and fixtures. The sitting areas and bathroom are trimmed with details that have been carefully chosen to fit the vision of our farm. Guests who stay here will enjoy complete privacy in our beautiful little home. It is sandwiched between two horse pastures and steps away from our tranquil pond.

Quaint cottage located on the grounds of the beautiful and historical Covington Home that was built in 1902. Headland, AL better known as the “Gem of the Wiregrass” was rated one of the safest cities in AL in 2019 and is a designated Main Street community. The cottage is walking distance to the square where you will find soft music playing as you stroll the streets, picturesque oak trees, stylish boutiques and cuisine to fit any taste pallet. It is less than 10 miles to the Dothan Airport.

Bagby parlor- where vision and inspiration thrive.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to connect, reflect, recharge and recreate. This is the closest house to Bagby State park, which offers public boat launch, a marina, a public beach. This state park is undergoing major renovation: adding 69 RV camp sites. When it opens, it’ll offer restaurant, swimming pool, tennis court, 2 pickleball courts, a basketball and a valley ball court. A bike trial is right outside of this property, leading to Bagby state park and Fort Gaines.

Each of our four one-bedroom cabins is nestled privately in a 32-acre longleaf pine forest. All cabins include a screened-in porch with rocking chairs, perfect for enjoying an early morning or a late evening in fresh air, listening to the natural sounds of the surrounding forest. Our cabins keep a rustic country charm while remaining fully modern with electricity, air conditioning, heat, and other amenities. We are pet friendly, but please be aware that there is a $75 Pet Fee.

Eufaula Historic District: The Peacock Suite

Step back in time as you walk thru the doors of this beautifully renovated apartment set within one of Eufaula's historic homes, originally built in 1865. The home has a very walkable location, being approximately two blocks from the downtown main street, where you'll find restaurants, a grocery store, drug stores, churches and various other shops, or you can take a stroll through the historic neighborhood admiring the various historic homes and the beautiful landscaping.

Located in a community that allows golf cart/4 wheelers, so your are welcome to bring yours. A mile to Hardridge Creek State Park, and close driving distance to Thomas Mill Creek and White Oak.

This home is nestled under an oak tree that provides shade to relax outside to play a game of hoops or enjoy outdoor dining. The covered porch allows beautiful views of the lake at sunrise and sunset. A Cool Change is conveniently located to Sandy Branch where you can enjoy your day swimming, relaxing on the beach and grilling out.

Claire’s Cottage with privacy gate

Everything you need in a quaint, modern space located on 7 secluded acres with a privacy gate only minutes from the Ross Clark Circle and downtown, Wi-Fi, Smart TV with YouTube TV subscription included (over 70 channels), brand new fridge, spacious rooms. Washer and dryer available. We allow pets on a case by case basis and charge a one time $10 fee per pet upon guests arrival. We also offer EV level 2 charging (40 amp) for a flat $10 fee.
