Henka was a great host. Cabin was perfect for us to stay. Would absolutely recommend ! :)

Was attracted to this cabin by the hammocks and the forrest all around the deck. We felt very welcomed walking into the cabin and seeing 2 chocolate brownies and an easter chocolate. The deck was very peaceful during the daytime with plenty of birds and wallabies. Enjpyed the fire in the evenings too. Very relaxing stay all up and felt very grounded. Would love to come back and stay.

Had an amazing and relaxing weekend. The location and cabin exceeded my expectations. The hot tub topped off our weekend. Will definitely be going back again. Thanks Dee

We had such an amazing escape here! We drove up and just said "WOW!". The views and jacuzzi take the cabin to the next level. The local wildlife make for such an adventure with the kids, and there is lots to do, despite being so remote. The kids loved playing pool and table tennis at the resort end. Susanne and Dave had everything in the house that we needed and provided the comforts and added extras that just made it all the more thoughtful. Come here prepared to cook all meals or drive into town and grab a meal, even the drive is nice. We loved clocking off from the world and just enjoying our time away from all the busy. Thanks so much for making our stay so memorable :)

We had a wonderful stay at Sugarloaf. The cabin is very well maintained, decorated and came with all the special touches you’d want for a perfect stay. The spa, kangaroo food & provisions including muesli and jams were especially appreciated. The landscaping is also immaculate whilst also being very well integrated into the nature. You can tell the owners really care about this place, especially when you see some other cabins on the same street that are far less well maintained. The only thing that could be improved is to note in the listing that the tap water comes from a tank so has to be filtered before you can drink it. Tim did provide a jug filter but as we had a baby and toddler with us we had to bring a lot of bottled water for drinking / sterilising. He did let me know a couple of days beforehand which was good. Other friends of ours had the same situation in nearby cabins but weren’t told and that left them in a pickle as the shops are a long way away. We’d love to stay again!

Amazing place!!! The cabine is exactly as described and matches the photos, even the parrot came to see us! Very peaceful place, nice and worm, clean just perfect. Debbie’s is very reactive and answers super quickly, her instructions to get there are very good too! I would only add some maps (physical map of the surrounding treks and stuff) since there’s no wifi and getting maps is hard, but that’s it!

Thank you Eloise and Troy for having us and our two dogs over the Christmas break. Lovely property with everything we needed, a spacious yard for the pups, and Eloise was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the city and be amongst nature for a few days :)

We had the most incredible weekend stay at Cathy and Manny’s place! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the peaceful atmosphere. The fire pits and indoor fireplace were already set up, making it so easy to just relax and enjoy our evenings. The house was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed – including quality wine glasses and even an automatic ice maker (such a nice touch!). You can really tell a lot of care has gone into making the place feel special and comfortable. One of the highlights for us was definitely the wildlife! We had friendly visits from kangaroos (who we got to feed thanks to the kangaroo food Cathy and Manny provided), as well as goannas, kookaburras, and wallabies. It felt like a dream – truly magical. We already miss it and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Cathy and Manny for creating such a wonderful getaway!

From the minute I booked this beautiful cabin, Karen was an amazing host from the get go. Always helpful and very responsive you couldn’t ask for any better if you tried. The cabin is the perfect getaway, it was quiet, cosy and so homely. The amenities were great and the beds so comfortable. Even though we had a bit of wet weather it still was an enjoyable time. Sitting out on the deck listening to nature just made everything feel at peace, it really is a beautiful place to stay. Would definitely love to go back again.

This place was just amazing. Would give it a 6 out of 5* if possible! 😍 Linda went out of her way with supplying anything you could possibly need. Even a Welcome bottle of wine and chocolates. Super clean, beautiful garden for our dog. Even a warm outside shower to wash him. Highly recommended!

Lovely place, large, modern space with fantastic field views. You had everything you could need, and Helen even provided us with a breakfast tray! Highlights were the overly friendly horses who would pop over for a apple in the afternoon and the nearby Artisan Farmers cafe. Good base for Forster! Highly recommend

Carol's site is very peaceful in the middle of nature. The DayDreamer - our accomodation - was the perfect set up for 2 families with many kids and 2 dogs! A lot of space outside to play as the campsites were not occupied during our stay ;) Very relaxing! Also plenty to do short drives away from 10 to 30 min (beach, horse ridding, treetops, even go karting near Newcastle!!) ; plenty to keep everyone busy. If your thing is eating / coffeeing out, there may be other better suited options but it was perfect for us! Thanks.

Our stay here in Gloucester was peaceful and super relaxing. Dan reached out by email with detailed and easy to understand instructions which made finding the property super easy, even when we arrived late in the evening while it was dark. The property overlooks the hills and the view in the morning is gorgeous. We had clear skies in the evening so we had a perfect view of the stars. The kitchen was fully equipped and we had no issues preparing our meals, the gas bbq outside was also very handy. During the day the local cows walked by to graze and was a fun sight to see from the balcony. Would definitely stay here again Thanks Dan!

Loved our 2 night stay at Camp Jordan - especially being able to bring our furbaby on holidays with us. Kiddo loved playing giant connect four and putt putt around the camp. Beautiful view over the Hastings River where you can let the day go by relaxing on the balcony. Highly recommend during your stay to head down to The Chow Haus for a delicious breakfast and coffee - will not disappoint!

We had a wonderful stay at Paul’s cabin, such a beautiful place in the countryside. Peaceful and quiet but not too far from the beaches if you wanted to visit them too. We loved it here and Paul was always there to help us out if we needed him. He gave great recommendations and we would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Thanks very much

What a wonderful weekend we had at Anita’s Surf Shack, exactly as described and expected. Loved the minimalist aesthetic, coastal style. Only the basics as described, which was fine for us. Located at the back of the main house, feels private as long as no one is in residence there of course! Great bathroom, small but loved the shower space. Bed and pillows comfy and the overhead fans a godsend on a hot weekend (as was the shack’s position under the shade trees). Lots of birdlife, soft green lawn and swinging in the hammock, the best. Very short walk one way to Bennetts Beach to enjoy our complimentary bubbles at sunset before the SLS for another cheeky bevvie. A short walk the other direction to the IGA and cafe next morning, nice coffees and avo smash. Dinner options available in Tea Gardens a short drive away, pizza at the Tea Gardens Hotel the stand out. A nice lunch spot over the water, The Boatshed, lovely service! A simple space for a couple’s laidback weekend. Thank you Anita!

An off grid sanctuary in a gorgeous part of Australia. Hidden away in the bush and farmlands but only a short drive to some of the best beaches in NSW. Simple and basic enabling me to totally switch off. One of my most memorable short breaks ever

Beautiful place, very peaceful and serene. The hosts have given a lot of thought into the space and the experience. As an architect, I really appreciated the fitout, detailing and interior decoration of the cabin. It is also a great spot to connect with nature. All you can hear is the sounds of birds and nature. We even spotted some wallabies. Our baby really enjoyed the swing and had a great sensory experience. We will definitely go back! Thanks Holly and Raea.

I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!

Our stay at Arinya over Christmas was absolutely delightful, the view and wallabies were the top attraction for us, the house is great, well equipped and clean, the resort’s pool, tennis court and pool table are well maintained and considering it was Christmas period we’d expect it crowded but for our surprise it was completely empty and quiet, we enjoyed every single moment. Would definitely go back again! Arinya is such a paradise to relax and unwind and Archana is a wonderful host, always prompt to help, special thanks to her!

We spent a night away in Katherine’s little cabin on their property & I wish we stayed longer. It was a wonderful scenic drive up to Katherine’s property, which is very secluded & a short drive away from the main road. The cabin is perfect for 2 adults, very comfortable & cosy, with a very comfortable bed. It was unfortunately rather wet & gloomy weather while we were up, scouting for properties ourselves. But it was pure bliss sitting out on the front deck just listening to the rain. I wish we had more time & less rain to check out their beautiful little waterfall area which Katherine showed me photos. There looks like some lovely little walking track areas to explore so plenty to do for people who just want to get away & touch some grass or just enjoy the peace & quiet. Katherine was very welcoming & easy to get along with, she met us when we arrived & took us to the cabin & came to greet us when we were leaving. I’ll definitely be back at some stage to spend a few more nights!
