Caroline was very responsive and informative prior to my arrival, even providing directions to suit me. The hosts both met me at the gate and were both friendly and welcoming. Caroline showed me around The Studio which is a lovely property in a very peaceful and lovely surrounding. The property has everything that I needed and has been well looked after and clean. It was a great stay and I enjoyed my get away. Would definitely return

My partner and I found our stay wonderful ! There were beautiful views all around and we were given a book with lots of things to do during the day and the evening. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. They prepared the hot tub for our arrival and made sure we settled in nicely. The lodge was absolutely spotless and had an absolutely amazing scent !!! Very cosy ! I would highly recommend staying at this Airbnb !!

A beautiful cabin with glorious views. The place was absolutely spotless with all the amenities we needed. A very tranquil and relaxing spot with nice walks and a lovely pub just down the road. Debbra and Rodger were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome throughout. We absolutely will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nigel’s place and our only regret is we didn’t book for longer! We stayed with our three young children and the lodge was perfect and very functional, with everything we needed for our stay. I would say it is better than on the photos and extremely clean and tidy. We didn’t need to speak to Nigel about anything as he provided very clear instructions around check in and the file in lodge was helpful, however he did reach out and gave some tips about key things to do! The hot tub is lovely and again, we found the instructions provided accurate. It took three hours to heat up but really retained its heat so the following two times, we only needed the fire on for a short while. Surrounding area is beautiful and we did lots of cycling. The Indian takeaway down the road (recommended in guest book) is really good! Thank you and hope to be back soon!

We had a lovely stay at Rowen tree lodge. The lodge had everything you would need for a couple of nights away. Penny did the most amazing afternoon tea for my husband’s birthday. The cakes were delicious. It is close to the main house, but it is secluded and didn’t feel over looked at all. We have stayed in a few cabins etc previously. But this one was definitely the cosiest of them all. 💯 recommend. Thanks again Penny for your fantastic hospitality. X

We have just returned from a very relaxing stay at Katie and Clive’s beautiful accommodation. Spotlessly clean everywhere, comprehensively equipped and very comfortable, everything was of the highest standard and this included some really special and beautiful hand made wooden furniture in the house and garden. Katie and Clive were kind and communicated well and immediately helped set up a stake and line for our doggy who needed it (most dogs would be fine here without it, but he is fast and big , so it was helpful). I must mention the super comfy bed and lovely linen, so much attention to detail. The view from the terrace is amazing and we struggled to leave! All in all this was Airbnb at its best, Katie and Clive you work so hard to make this happen, thank you. Thank you very much for the lovely foodie gifts on arrival , very kind. We will return!

Such a lovely spot with amazing views ! Personally thought it was the best pod ! Responsive owner and very helpful , got an extra package with decorations at a small extra fee ! We finished off our weekend with zip world , as explained in the description it being only down the road ! Will definitely visit again !

Painswick also has a farmer's market on a Thurs a m & hot takeaway in the p m at The Painswick Centre, which has a cafe & shop selling local arts and crafts. In addition there is The Falcon, Le Papillon, The Oak, St Michael's and The Painswick.
