Flintstone: soggiorni in cottage

Good quiet place to stay near Harper’s Ferry. Place was clean, hot tub was nice we were able to watch deer next door and across the street hang out and graze. Everything was in place and clean. Beds were soft and comfortable. The only issue that I have is the rocks that line the driveway especially when turning out of the driveway will catch lower vehicles and cars it caused a little damage to my wife’s car and be careful where you park there is an oak tree with dead and rotting limbs that need to be trimmed that are right above the area where cars would park if you have more than one car. If I were to ever come back to Harper’s Ferry I would definitely stay there again.

Elizabeth Cottage is an absolute gem! The home is cozy, comfortable, and filled with sweet touches that made our stay lovely. The yard is large and so pretty, with nice outdoor seating spaces to enjoy the garden and birds. We loved being so close to the springs, baths, and shopping. Everything inside was top notch and completely ready for our arrival. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Perfect house for our little Falling Water/Kentuck Knob getaway with the kids. The creek adds a lot of charm and we didn’t bring ocean waves for the kids to sleep to so we just cracked the windows a little bit and the creek did its job. Highly recommend!

Darrel went above and beyond in making sure we had a great stay! He was kind, responsive and overall a superstar. We had an incredibly relaxing time and enjoyed the peace his listing had to offer. So comfy and clean! Stayed for a few nights with some friends to forget about life for awhile. Easy walk to town, awesome hot tub on the deck and the grill works great. We left recharged and will def be back!

FOXY was a pure delight! Just book it and you can enjoy the trendy decor, well stocked modern kitchen, comfiest bed, squeaky clean oversized bathroom, and serene views of the rolling hills (and mountains in the background) with cattle and sheep grazing in the distance. You might also get the bonus of enjoying a star-filled evening from the private hot tub just steps away from the side door! There’s plenty of great restaurants , shopping, and activities nearby but pack your bags and enjoy your retreat! Gillian is a most attentive host, check in and check out was a breeze, and the house instruction/guide book was easy to use and helpful. Attention was given to every detail to make guests feel welcome, comfortable, and spoiled!

Had a lovely weekend in VA at Dollys place, and at a really great price. The house was very charming, though very clearly older, but everything about it was within what I consider normal expectations with an older home out in this area. We really enjoyed spending time in the backyard, which was fenced in and had a charming fire pit and table. Our dogs and kids alike took advantage of the ample room for activities back there! Dolly and her husband were very responsive and easy to reach and talk to. Would recommend for a weekend getaway!

We loved staying at the lakefront property. The weather didn't allow us to spend much time in the amazing outdoor spaces at the home, so we will be back in warmee weather. The house was so comfortable and the view was amazing. We had everything we needed for a cozy mountain weekend away. We will definitely be back!

It was an amazing weekend in this home. The kitchen, bathroom and linen closet were well stocked and we didn’t run out of anything. The house is right on the water and provided hours of free entertainment. The house contained cable, plenty of DVDs/Bluray movies, board games, and sitting space. Wisp is seconds away by car and minutes by walking. Host was responsive and understanding, even after I lost the house keys.

We enjoyed our stay at this cute Airbnb! It was conveniently located and provided easy access to all that deep creek offers. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing trip staying here! The pond was so nice to look out at - and the wood stove was so cozy. I would definitely recommend staying here!

I love the peace and tranquillity at Jens place! I brought my teenage grandson along for a trip to the country and some time for us to connect away from it all. We spent time doing one of the puzzles at the house and relaxing. It was amazing to see him let down the “teenage edge” in the cozy atmosphere her cottage provides. While out and about one evening we stumbled upon what is an annual Christmas Tree lighting in the town square of Greencastle. What an experience! If you need to unwind and let go of the crazy world, look no further. Jen is an excellent host and her getaway will remain at the top of my list.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. Very clean and nice amenities. 25 minutes from White tail and 15 minutes from downtown Mercersburg. Super friendly hosts.

It was a very nice place. The fire pit was great. We got to sit around the first night. A cottage was very quaint and clean. Will use it again and lots of extra things for us to use when we ran out of like the water thank you, Michael.

Sisters on Lincoln was perfect for the two couples traveling in our group. The house was super clean, neat and tidy. Both our evenings were chilly outside, so we had the opportunity to enjoy the wood burning fireplace each night, which was such a treat. The house was also well stocked with snacks and supplies that made our stay even more comfortable. We were in town for an annual festival, and plan to stay at Sisters on Lincoln again next year when we return. Hence, I would highly recommend this AirBnb!

Loved every minute of our stay. Was warm and cozy and very welcoming of kids. My daughter (4 yrs) loved the books and toys. My son (6 yrs) loved the Zipline and building a fire with dad in the fire pit. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for morning coffee and family meals. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

Susie & Craig's place is so lovely and cozy. The surroundings are very quiet and beautiful, and everything in the house was very convenient. We really appreciated the recommendations for local attractions, as well as Susie's prompt responses and check-ins. We would absolutely recommend this cottage and would love to stay here again if we ever stop by in the future.

A perfect spot to enjoy life as is. Beautiful yard, lovely antiques, colorful and cozy. Everything was here for our family getaway…the sunsets with the cows, the expansive green for my kiddos to run and play safely, the kitchen with more than enough… it was a delight! So close to so much yet you feel completely removed from worries and work. Felt at home and at peace.

We enjoyed the stay. Beds were comfortable, so we all slept well! We especially enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. There was a nice patio table and chairs to seat 5 of us.

My wife and I stayed at the house for a miniature getaway. Place was very quiet and matched what was described and shown in the pictures. Richard was very communicative and directions to the house were very clear. Place felt like home and was a nice relaxing getaway in the mountains. Would definitely stay there again in the future if the opportunity presents itself. Definitely recommended if you love the outdoors and are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway into the mountains

I’d give it 6 stars if I could! Over the top wonderful weekend. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious! The charm of this cozy cottage was perfect. And no over the top rules! Everything made sense. Truly enjoyed our stay. And so many beautiful vineyards in the area!

The house and property were beautiful, the house was super clean and felt cozy even though it’s new! Check in was really easy and Zeb was quick to respond. Loved being able to sit outside at the fire pit! It was a 10 minute drive to Shepardstown and 30 minutes to Harper’s Ferry so we were able to explore and go to some of the places that Zeb recommended! Highly recommend!

Kelly’s home was so charming and peaceful! We appreciated all the small touches you don’t find in your average bnb. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the cows over coffee. We liked being near to town but off the beaten path. Will return!
