The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Shaded in a canopy of macrocarpa trees at the base of Mt Taranaki national park, The Treehouse is a grown-up childhood sanctuary. Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

River Belle is set on a working farm only 10 minutes away from the city of New Plymouth. A secluded Glamping site set on 160 acres next to Mangaoraka river. A geodesic dome luxuriously fitted out, is accompanied by a amenities hut, providing a charming kitchen and separate bathroom. The hut has an outdoor bath with view of Mt Taranaki. This 2-bedroom Airbnb has a separate entrance and no access to the main house (situated below the space). There is complete privacy and the space includes a lounge, kitchenette, dining table, bathroom, and queen bed in each room. The space provides a perfect base, situated approximately 1 km from Fitzroy Beach, 3 km from the Town Centre, Pukekura Park and 29 km to Mount Taranaki Visitor Centre.

We offer you a private, warm, small quiet space neatly contained on the ground floor of our family home. Our quiet street sits right above the ocean where you can hear the lapping waves of the Tasman sea from your private courtyard, and have unlimited views out to the horizon. You'll want a camera for the sunsets. The entrance to the room is separate from the entrance to our house, so one has complete privacy. We offer modern bicycles for guest use at the cost of $20 per day, per bike.

Surfer’s Paradise Studio

This studio is located on a private property, tucked away at the end of a quiet cul de sac, adjacent to a picturesque golf course. The studio has it's own entrance and little deck area that can be screened off for privacy. It has an ensuite bathroom, kitchenette with electric benchtop hob and conventional oven with bbq and a dining table, mini fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and toaster. The room has a heater for Winter and a fan and sliding doors for Summer months. Wifi available.

Enjoy our cosy and warm studio 2 minutes walk to the coastal walkway , surf breaks with easy access to the beach and 5 minutes walk to Rewa Rewa bridge.We don't charge cleaning fees.Enquiry about surf board hire.The initial price is for 2 guests one bed if you required 2 beds will be an extra charge of $20. We can accommodate up to four people by request in the large studio room,the room is warm heated by radiators, you can relax the out door deck with BBQ and out door shower.

The Little House

Lovely little private cabin in Fitzroy. Newly renovated and consists of a bedroom with King size bed. There is a skylight above the bed equipped with a blockout blind. The Bathroom is en-suite with large rain shower. Cosy lounge area with flat screen TV. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with microwave, toaster and a fridge. The French doors lead to a decked area overlooking the garden area where you can relax and unwind.

We are two minutes from Lake Mangamahoe Walking track and Mountain Bike park, you can be in New Plymouth in ten minutes and be up North Egmont in 15 minutes.
