Canyon Wren Haven: A Romantic Retreat for Couples

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

It is listed for 8 guests, but there is more available sleeping space in the loft/attic with 3 available single cots and plenty of room for sleeping bags and/or air mattresses.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful mountain cabin. This cozy destination is nestled in a wooded forest and is the perfect getaway to just relax or enjoy the nearby trails and reservoirs. Take in the sound of birds from the deck or watch the sunset next to the fireplace. If you need to work or catch up on your to do list we have unlimited Starlink internet. The cabin is located 1/2 mile down a dirt road and best accessible with AWD or 4x4 vehicle although not required in the summer.

Come relax at our mountain cabin minutes away from Eagle Point Ski Resort. Enjoy year round fun with skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling in the winter, but don’t forget about getting out of the summer time heat to enjoy hiking, fishing, and all of the benefits of the Paiute ATV trails. After a great day of adventure kick back and relax on the porch and enjoy amazing sunset views, or relax in the hot tub (may not be accessible after heavy snow) with all that nature has to offer.

Get away in your own private mountain retreat. Secluded in the forest, with stunning views of the ski slopes. Resort lodge is just across the street! This cabin is my dream come true. Get away from the crazy crowds and lines. Often heralded as the best place to learn to ski. I am happy to be able to share it with you (but only tell your closest friends).
