Calling all explorers, dreamers and creatives! Come for a quick retreat or stay to write that book. The lookout was built by owner Rob himself over ten years. There is thought and love behind every little detail. The house isn't perfect, there is raw wood, some things aren't finished, the furniture is vintage and may appear worn but if you look past that, you will find that everything there has its own story and that this house is made for the big things: sunrises, ocean dreaming and full-moons

Spectacular sea views in quaint Kalk Bay

The sea views from our airbnb suite (2 bedrooms and a lounge) are fabulous. Behind us is the mountain reserve and in front lies the wide expanse of False Bay. Down below on the rocks is a natural tidal pool, safe for swimming. We are close to Kalk Bay fishing harbour, the quaint Kalk Bay village, several other tidal pools (perfect for cold swimmers!) and Fishhoek & Muizenberg beaches. We have newly renovated and enlarged our Airbnb space which is now separate from our living space and private.

Stay here and enjoy stunning sea views, peaceful nature and a refined yet homely interior. Watch glowing sunsets or passing whales and dolphins and the romantic mist over the cliffs with the sound of waves as your constant backdrop. Relax by the fireplace in the spacious double‑storey lounge, cook in the fully equipped open‑plan kitchen and work with fast fibre and a “ready‑to‑plug‑in” office setup. Beachball B&B

Beachball B&B is located in the heart of the old village of Kalkbay. Set on a cobbled road that ends in a short flight of stairs it is not a thoroughfare. It is within easy walking distance of the tidal pool, the park, numerous restaurants and coffee shops, and the mountain behind with walking trails. The house dates back to 1875 and the unit is an independent wing with its own street access. The station is also close at hand, and there are wonderful shops to explore along the main road.

Bay View apartment offers quality accommodation high up on the Fish Hoek Mountain providing spectacular views of False Bay, the Atlantic Ocean in the west and surrounding mountains. Not ideal for small children as close supervision is required.
