The waterfront reserve is a 2 min walk away, continue along the foreshore and in 10 min you can be in the hub of Lemon Tree Passage where you will find the boat launching ramp, park, tidal pool, Marina, Laundromat, Cafés/Restaurants, Post Office, Chemist, Butchers & Bottle Shop!

All easily accessed by foot or our new tram. Just 5 minutes walk to Newcastle Beach.

Anchored in the Bay @ Shoal Bay

Anchored in the Bay is a cute 2-bedroom beach cottage on a lovely quite street, only a short 500m easy walk to Shoal Bay beach, boutique shops, cafes and country club and close to both Fingal Bay and Nelson Bay. Our beach cottage is best suited for young families or no more than four adults and has ample room to park a boat or JetSki. We are also open to hosting dogs on enquiry.
