Stay includes clean linens, towels toiletries, WIFI, TV, full kitchen, washer & dryer, and two-car garage. Extra fees will be added if pet damage any area or to do an extra clean. Enjoy a unique 1700 sqft Texas themed log cabin in the woods! This 1.5 story home, located on a small family farm, has three bed rooms and two bathrooms with an open living room, dining area and kitchen. Toast marshmallows under the stars, grill burgers on the fire pit, play horseshoes or corn hole, lead your own yoga with our goats, collect eggs from the chickens, relax in a hammock, play tetherball, wander the woods, or head inside and dance to classic Texas country on the record player.

Our tiny 1920s cottage was built in the historic Heights neighborhood, northeast of downtown Houston. I purchased it from the great grandson of the original owner in 2010 and moved it to where it now resides. It has since been renovated, but the structure and interior walls haven’t changed. You won’t find painted sheetrock, but instead you will see the original boards, full of flaws and lots of character.
