Our weekend at this truly beautiful and magnificent location. John is a great host, really lovely and easy to chat to. We really enjoyed his stories and sharing how our stay was going. Our days were filled with beauty and magic, all the little touches made a huge difference. Sitting in the spa, wandering to the waterhole, lazing on the grounds, games by the fire and cooking dinner on the bbq. We wandered into bellingen markets and also explored viewpoints and walks. So stunning! It was absolutely the most perfect weekend away. Would love to go back! Thanks again John, many fond memories 🧡

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! The owners were super responsive in regard to any questions we had prior to arrival as well. The cottage was extremely clean and lovely to stay in. The hot tub was definitely a hit for us as this was super relaxing and enjoyable with the rain we had throughout our stay! We also loved the thoughtfulness they put in by including bread, eggs and milk upon arrival in the fridge for us to use!! The cottage was located beside the lake and had beautiful views to look at and was super peaceful and quiet! My husband and I will definitely be back to stay again, and will be telling our friends and family about this place!

Great place to relax and unwind with complete privacy! Outdoor bath is unreal to star gaze or watch the setting sun from! Plenty of space to play some lawn games, enjoy the peaceful nature outlook and even have a dip in the creek! Comfortable unit with full kitchen which I always appreciate! Agnes it was a delight and you’re a wonderful host, thank you!

Our family had a great stay at Samuel's. It was very quiet and peaceful, just 10 minutes out of town but a world away. We felt right at home. Samuel was also super responsive and easy to communicate with.

Above and beyond. Stephen and Jude really put 110% in hosting their Airbnb. It's something you don't see often. The place was sweaky clean, which is hard to believe for a place that hosts so many pets! The attention to detail is impeccable, it's well stocked, and they provided a few treats for us and our doggo. The property is beautiful and the cabin is cosy. We spent a few days working there and had no issues with internet, even with video calls. Thanks so much for having us!

My husband and had the pleasure of spending a week at the cottage to relax and rejuvenate after a very busy month. The location is perfectly serene and peaceful. Our hosts were very responsive and ensured that the cottage was well stocked. Everything we needed was there, and Sam assured us that if we needed anything that she could help us out. The fully fenced yard was thoroughly enjoyed by our labradoodle. She had fun trying to figure out exactly what the fluffy animals with beards and horns were all about (friendly goats). We loved the space that offered a range of views and areas to relax and read in. We also enjoyed the walks and the peaceful sounds of nature, including the soothinfg sound of the rapids from the surrounding creeks (there had just been a lot of rain and plenty of water flowing). I highly recommend anyone who wants to spend time in nature with all the luxuries of a comfy bed, cozy fire pit and a clawfoot tub to take the time to escape to the valley cottage.

We were not able to stay at Anna’s due to the cyclone. She was very great at communicating with updates and was very flexible options for rebooking.

The cottage is very cute and cosy. The host clearly loves her garden which makes a lovely outlook, and the neighbourhood is very quiet. It’s a short drive to all the beaches in Valla and the two cafes. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh and crisp. The house is full of little friendly touches which add personality. It was a great base for visiting family who live nearby and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Valla. A very pleasant place to stay.

This cute, original beach cottage is close to everything and has a casual holiday vibe. It reminded me of my grandparents' holiday house, down to the eclectic furniture. It had everything you need, and it was simple and comfortable. We met the lovely owner, who was understanding as we struggled to get everything packed up after a flash rain storm. Looking forward to our next stay.

This is a beautiful sea side home in an incredible location with amazing view. The house is charming and comfortable, with warm beds and heaters for a winter stay. Thoughtful family friendly additions such as games, toys and a high chair made this stay exceptionally enjoyable.

This is a wonderful property and a great find. We met Candy and John when we arrived and they were so helpful. It was great to meet them. The property was spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a great stay. There was even a selection of goodies they left for us which was very kind. The area is great with restaurants, beaches and plenty to see and do. Absolutely no negatives about this property. Wonderful hosts and a great property. Many thanks for our stay.

This was our second visit to this home and we loved it just as much as our first. The location is perfect, it is a great price and works well for longer stays.
