Conveniently located just off Hwy 52 only 5 minutes from the center of Allardt, the Carpenter’s Cabin is cozy and comfortable with all the amenities you need for a stay in the country. A large yard and wrap-around porch complete with rocking chairs and swing, give you space to spread out, as well as a place to sit and watch traffic go by. The Carpenter’s Cabin is a 5-20 min drive to Big South Fork, Pickett State Park, Allardt Pumpkin Festival, 127 Yard Sale, FP Truck Fest, and Sgt York Park.

This home is only minutes away from town, and two large state/national forests: Pickett State Park and The Big South Fork National Park. The cabin is one steep mile back from Muddy Pond Road, where you can access the local Mennonite community and enjoy unique stores and leather shops. Welcome!

This little tree house is primitive with no electricity and no water but has a bath house nearby. This is tent camping in a tree house. Located behind the historic R.M. Brooks Store, it is the perfect place to find peace and beauty . Perfect for hikers. Rest in the huge branches of this nearly 100 year old Oak Tree. A Queen bed awaits you for your restful nights sleep. Underneath you can picnic at the table or swing in the swing that hangs below. This is the perfect place to unplug.
