The room is on the fourth floor of our building, the same floor as the terrace. The terrace is of common use and the room has a small kitchen and has access to more functional big kitchen of the third floor. The bathroom is shared with another room and is on the third floor. Attic room is about 15 square meters with an antique iron bed, a a desk, sofa, wardrobe from 40's. Being and old style mansion, we have a wooden inner stair no elevator. Beyoğlu is the heart of the town and our place is just some meters away from the heart of Beyoğlu, that is İstaklal Street. Taksim and Şişhane metro stations are of walking distance, about 15 minutes on foot and there is a major bus stop about 300 meters distance. The neighbourhood was born as a middle class Greek population residential area most of the buildings are unique liberty style made by important architects of the period. Our area although very central is the neglected part of Beyoğlu and there is an on going gentrification process which makes the area economical, yet more interesting than the other parts of Beyoğlu in terms of diversity of the people sharing the neighbourhood.
