Falls Lake: soggiorni in cottage

Cedar Serenity was wonderful. We had to travel for a funeral and it was so nice coming back to the house and relaxing in the woods. It was so quiet and serene. Craig was a great host! The home had everything we needed for our stay! Highly recommend!

What an amazing gem in a great location! This is by far my fav Airbnb which makes you feel at home the minute you walk in the front screened in porch and then into the cozy living-room/kitchen area to the amazing back yard with everything needed to unwind and forget the busy work week we left behind. The art throughout the home and colors on all the doors and touches of conversation pieces throughout the home are one of a kind. We had fun playing the card games and Pac-man (I grew up playing this one!) and roasting marshmallows out back. The beds were so comfortable which is always hard to find when traveling - the bathrooms all immaculate. A+++ Kudos to being so creative! We will be back! ❤️

This was such a gem! We celebrated Easter with family and it was so nice and comfortable. The decorations and layout of the house is perfect. Very accommodating hosts. Would love to stay here again!

A serene, relaxing setting right on the lake. Comfortable, clean accomodations. The hostess went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. Every detail was attended to. Would definitely go back.

Pros: The location is great. Being on a peninsula makes it feel much more private. Very little activity or noise from other houses, which was great. The views from the sunroom and porch were fantastic and the trees in the yard provide good shade. The dock was nice and easy to access. Plenty of seating indoors and out. The bathrooms and linens were clean and seemed sanitary. In general, the place felt like a family home, in a good way. Cons: The rugs were not clean. The upholstered furniture is old and has signs of wear. Small things just didn't work right (the front storm door closing spring was not adjusted right, the primary bath door didn't close right, missing TV remote, some lamps didn't have bulbs or didn't work, SUP board full of water and had to be drained). Also, you have to take your own trash which is a buzzkill when checking out (dump was closed on the day we left so we had to carry bags of garbage in our car all the way home). Overall: Great place, great views, good value

Great spot to stay while in Pittsboro! Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Included breakfast from the on site cafe was delicious every morning! Great for our needs and would stay here again if ever back in the area!

A wonderful place to stay and very cozy, we hosted our son’s birthday parties there and celebrated Easter & some fishing as well. It was the perfect house we really enjoyed our selves & good family time. The bonfire setup and all the wood that was provided was the best!! Our kids rated it the BEST EASTER EVER! 💗

Felt at home. Had everything we needed. Peaceful, relaxing, loved our time at the dock. Betty borrowed one of the kayaks and got out on the water. Neighbors were super. Quiet. Just what we needed. Thanks so much. Hope you let us rent from you again.

We loved our stay, agree with others that the photos don't do it justice. The view of the water through the trees from the lounge and balcony was so calming and we loved sitting ontop of the boat house right on the waters edge. We saw turtles, fish, beavers, fire Flys and birds all on the property. Great space for families, lots of shade for summer and our toddlers loved playing with the garden hose and roasting marshmellows on the fire. Air conditioning worked well, shower pressure was great and the kitchen had all the things we needed. Host was friendly and communicated well. Also super close to the shady shack which had a wonderful pontoon boat hire next door.

The Cottage was perfect us this week. We used it for our place to stay for our fishing tournament. It was very clean inside and out. Had plenty of room for our boats. Beth was very informative and a great host. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy lakefront location.

It was precious. Clean, the bed was comfortable, the character and the history of the house was really neat. History buffs will love it! The owner was very accommodating. I called and she gave us a later check out! Would definitely stay there again.

Very cute and comfortable lake side house. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Great location to drive to anything needed during the stay. Kendra is very kind and responsive. Would definitely book this one again

My husband and I stayed for our 10 year anniversary and it was the perfect spot! So quiet and peaceful and the most beautiful surroundings. Amanda was very helpful with recommendations and quick to respond. The bed was comfy and we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. :)

Very nice please , quickly responded to questions and to extending our stay. Second time there , will stay again.
