Peter's property was the IDEAL HOME BASE for my exploration of western Connecticut. The home was extremely clean and tidy, mattresses were very comfortable, linens and towels were of nice quality, the kitchen was well equipped, and the yard was safe and easily accessible for my dogs. I truly felt like Peter's guest when I saw ground coffee in the cupboard, ample silverware, extra paper towels, hand soap, new kitchen sponges, and high end fragrance diffusers. After a long day of travel, it was nice to relax without having to clean the home. I was impressed by how quiet this neighborhood was considering how closely set the homes are to one another and how many year-round families live in the area. It's truly a pedestrian neighborhood with miles of sidewalks for relaxed walking. The gem is proximity to the lovely marina and beach. Peter was an excellent host! He offered many recommendations during my stay and was always quick to respond despite being on vacation himself.

Great place to stay close to all the things you’d love to do if you’re a person that loves sights and places to eat. Easy to get too!

Carolyn is a great host, her place is beautiful and at a perfect location. She was very responsive and extremely helpful even before we finalised the booking. They went above and beyond to ensure we have a comfortable stay. The place has a nice fenced-backyard and our pups absolutely loved it. The location is amazing and just 5 minutes walk to the beach and nearby shops. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Nates home is so warm, cozy and spacious. We had a large group for a local concert and everyone had more than enough room. The music room was an added bonus! Look no further if you want to feel at home in this spectacular house!

A cozy stay for a weekend away. Matt and family provided a well accomodated and private space and we would love to stay here another weekend if in the area. Perfect for a couple or small family. Our dog was comfortable as well.

The place matched the description perfectly and much more spacious than what one usually finds for a single bed/bath apartment. I enjoyed the stay and would return again. For me it was a perfect place to accommodate overflow thanksgiving guests over the holiday.

The neighborhood was beautiful. We walked out to an island that was only accessible at low tide. Great shared spaces with fun rooms and lovely bedrooms.

We had such a great time staying at this Milford house! It was even better in person than the pictures show, more spacious than expected. The balconies overlooking the water were great to wake up to, and the small touches that the host added (towels set up and stacked in each bedroom, full coffee bar) made everything that much better! Allana was incredibly kind and responsive, being proactive about check in and check out and making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be repeat stayers at this house!

Jim’s place was an absolute gem for my inaugural trip to Black Rock! The Loft is incredibly spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the meticulous cleanliness, attention to detail, and beautiful furnishings. Jim's communication was top-notch, making the entire experience seamless. One of the highlights was the extensive music collection, perfect for setting the mood during my downtime. The bed and furniture provided a level of comfort that made it hard to leave. Nestled on a serene, tree-lined street, the location couldn’t be better; it’s just a leisurely stroll away from delightful restaurants, charming shops, food markets, and more. I can’t wait to return for another stay whenever I’m in the area!

We enjoyed our recent stay while we were visiting our son at Fairfield University. It was about a 20-25 minute drive to campus and we enjoyed our walks on the beach and the quaint seaside neighborhood. Matt was very responsive and his home provided a great place to hang out while visiting our son. We especially enjoyed waking up to the sun coming up on the water and the beautiful view from the porch.

Great location on wide, beautiful, private beach! Lots of outdoor space on beach and patio with grill for BBQ. Kayaks and SUPs were at provided, too. House is surprisingly spacious with seating for many in living room and dining table. Kitchen is large and supplied with basics needed for stay. Primary bedroom is huge and all the beds are very comfortable! Jillian was great with communication. Had a great time with our family spending days on beach, grilling dinner and bonfires at night!

We really enjoyed staying here. The place was super clean and orderly. Its a small home but it has a great open kitchen / sitting area that all 6 of us were comfortably able to hang out in, eat and chat. Cute neighborhood with a nice beach walking area just down the street. And it was close to the family we were there to visit - perfect for us. Quick responses from Paul and Sean to all of our questions also.

At the risk of creating too much interest in Rowena's Creekside Cottage, we thoroughly our stay with Rowena. Her Cottage is a great space right on Pine Creek. Each morning we were serenaded by the many different songbirds that make the Creek and the Marsh behind it home and one morning we were treated to an Osprey flyover. A walk on Fairfield's LI Sound beaches or, a stroll in central Fairfield are are super close, making the Cottage a great get-away spot.

This is the cutest bungalow, with the most spectacular views. When you stand in the kitchen, it almost looks like you are on a boat, all you see is the water. I was lucky I had a gorgeous sunset every night of my stay. The owners have utilized the space extremely creatively and the house has everything you should possibly need. The neighborhood is very pretty and a lovely area to walk around. It’s also very quiet. The neighbors are extremely friendly. The location of the home makes you feel away from town but it’s close enough to local restaurants, and even a Target, that you aren’t inconvenienced to run out to eat or grab groceries. The furniture is very comfortable, as are the mattresses. Water pressure is good. The home has all updated amenities. The heating and air is updated with a Nest thermostat. There is a grill, as well as kayaks, and lots of outdoor seating. The house is just as depicted in the pictures. I can’t wait to go back!!

Dawn saved our whole trip when our other booking ended up with storm damage. It was meant to be because the home was the perfect long weekend getaway. Fully enjoyed the outdoor space and the proximity to beach. We enjoyed multiple walks per day with low tide and following boardwalk to some tasty restaurants. The house was clean, as pictured, and stocked with anything and everything you think you’d need, likely forgot to bring with you, and more! Beds were comfortable and Dawn was so easy to communicate with and added extras touches to make it special. Can’t wait to go back!

Denise's place was perfect for us. 4 ladies stayed here to go to the soundside music festival and it was amazing. So close to the venue and relaxing in between festival-ing. Thanks, Denise.

Richard and Ruthie are the best hosts we've encountered, and we've had some great ones. They put great care and thought into their place, and into anticipating all of their guests' needs. From thoughtful touches and amenities to thorough instructions and recommendations-- they have thought of everything. They are also extremely responsive.
