Host goes above and beyond to welcome you. Mini fridge and half size sink, burners don’t get to high heat so this is mostly for simple things like soup or reheating. However they made use of every inch so there’s a toaster oven and microwave and pots and pans. Views to die for much closer to the national park than anywhere else.

We had an amazing stay! The house had everything we could possibly need, and Jason provided clear directions and tons of local recommendations. The location was great and walkable to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

A very quiet, secluded and beautiful spot; felt like we were in a treehouse. Rose and Dick were very welcoming and helpful. We wish we could have enjoyed the sunset from their deck as they welcomed us to do, but next time. We enjoyed our visit and their unit.

Walk to the beach. California King Bed

We had a great stay! The bed was very comfortable, and the space felt much larger than it looked in the photos. Definitely a lot of natural light throughout. Beach access was a bit of a walk, but it was absolutely worth it with the trial marked clearly. Overall the location was perfect—centrally located between Eureka and Arcata, making it an ideal location for exploring the Redwoods and the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend!

Bright studio w/yard and laundry, blocks to CPH

Erin's place was adorable! The decor was cute and inviting. Our dogs loved the private yard. Erin was very communicative, giving detailed instruction about arrival, and we felt welcome the moment we walked in. It is worth mentioning that the bed is really tall. If you're vertically challenged, like me, you might need a boost. It's very comfy once you're up there though. I'd gladly stay at Erin's place again!

Ocean Front Cottage featuring 180 degree views

Our stay at the Whale Tail cottage exceeded our expectations. The hosts are friendly and helpful, the surroundings are beautiful, and the cottage was clean, well-kept and comfortable, with lots of amenities. Our stay was quiet and restful. As for the location, well, it can't be beat. The view from the house is simply breathtaking. The Whale Tail is truly a rare treasure, and we hope to return soon.

Loved this house and the close proximity to food, freeway, and yet it felt secluded. Loved the forest right next to the road and how it was on the corner for easy access. Loved the decor and comfortable seating!

Dream House in the Redwoods with hot tub and sauna

We took a short family vacation in CA. Most of us from east coast. This Dream home had several sleeping or getaway rooms we didn’t use- it was so spacious! And we were 4 adults three kids from three households. I have never entered such a well appointed home. Everything needed to cook a major holiday supper on site and so much more such as many sets of pillows, blankets, towels , Highly conscientious grounds and places to walk or short drive to town or close to the major federal, state, and community parks. So Wonderful!

Super cute place and in a really good location! Lots to do super nearby. The towels/sheets has some stains and were miscolored on almost all of them which was a little odd but other than that the place was great!

Such a perfect vacation with the perfect place to stay. Karin was a lovely host, giving us wonderful local recommendations and showing us around the place. This place is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the national park and stay near by. It’s also walking distance from many places in Trinidad so it was nice walking to dinner every night

Cozy Retreat in Trinidad

Simple and comfortable place to stay in the village of Trinidad. Walkable to the harbor, market, breakfast, fresh seafood market. It is not fancy, but it is roomy and clean. Our family of 4 would definitely stay there again. We had a great time hiking the redwoods and beaches and do not need fancy digs with a hot tub and sweeping views (plenty fantastic views nearby). That said, there is a nice little backyard with table and chairs. Very enjoyable stay.

Modern Elegance in the Heart of Town

Very impressed, extremely clean, all amenities had been thought of. Beds, so comfortable. Cut my finger and there were bandages. Towels were so nice. We were very impressed overall. Not one thing to complain about. If we owned an Air B&B we would only hope it was this nice. Truly a great place. Plan on staying again.

Place was perfect for my family and I. We even brought along our corgi. Patricia messaged me the day before our arrival that she would let me know if we could check in earlier and it worked out perfectly as we were tired from the long drive and were able to check in a little before our scheduled time.

This was a really clean and comfortable space. I can’t believe that no one has mentioned the insanely good water pressure and endless hot water supply! My family of three showered back to back without rushing or running out. Good stock of coffee supplies on hand.

Pilot Rock Cottage

Pilot Rock Cottage was a perfect destination and Steve was a wonderful host! The cottage was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable. Terrific view of Trinidad Bay from the front windows and porch! Walking distance to restaurants and hiking trails. Easy launching point to visit other attractions in the area. We would love to stay there again!
