Unique Rustic Adirondack Cabin

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

Our cabin is a studio with a hot tub & all the amenities. A queen bed, linens, towels, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, single burner cook plate, dishes, utensils, glassware, pots/pans, toaster & coffee maker. Roku Tv & dvd player w/movies. The cabin has both an inside & outside (summer)shower. We have a privacy fence between our home & cabin. In the back yard you will find hot tub, firepit & screen house. One of two Adirondack guest cabins situated on a private three acres parcel with mountain views and private river access for swimming and wading. The property has park-like grounds with a private outdoor stairs that lead down to a wild Adirondack river. We allow guests to bring up to two pets for an additional pet fee. This quaint, rustic, one room log cabin was originally built for overflow family during the summer by my father. The cedar logs were cut from our property giving it a truly authentic Adirondack feel. The cabin sleeps 1-3 people. It's located on a large, beautiful piece of property with two main houses, a barn and garage. You are within walking distance to our private swimming hole and beach. There is a horse arena nearby. This is a great location for many attractions in the Adirondacks.

Keene and Keene Valley trail heads are only minutes away. The cabin has 3 acres of wooded property with a front driveway as well as a back access drivweway which is nice to walk. There is Satellite TV and wifi. There is good cell coverage. World Class Fishing, Ausable Rivers are close

SilverBear Cabin, 15 min from Whiteface &ski jumps

This cabin is in the heart of the high peaks, 15 minutes from Whiteface, and 15 minutes from Lake Placid. It is nestled on a hill right off the main road, overlooking the village of Keene! It is within walking distance from all of the shops in town. Although the driveway is plowed, it is steep, so in the winter you will need four wheel drive. The cabin is off Rt 73, but it is tucked away and very private! You don’t see any neighbors! A great year round rental :)
