We are minutes from Lake Francis and the Connecticut Lakes in NH's northernmost town, Pittsburg. While by no means primitive, our cabin is simple and rustic, and...in the woods. You may be visited by rabbits and coyote, or even a moose or deer grazing early in the morning. You may have the occasional cobweb, fly, swollen door, or sticky evening.

The boat launch is conveniently located 1/8 of a mile away and the local beach is a short paddle across the lake using the provided canoe and kayaks.

Waterfront! Hot tub & dock with kayaks on private lake. Enjoy the Hot Tub, fire table & bright cottage with Japanese soaking tub, (small) +fast wifi. Cook in the kitchen or grill in the beach side pavilion. Follow trails through forest & meadow to the nearby Gold Mine Trail. The Big Barn occasionally opens its doors for an impromptu Wine Tasting Hour-complimentary! Camp Ursus rustic and peaceful

One room cabin with all the necessities. At initial entrance, you are in the screened in porch. This offers your firewood close to carry, many cozy chairs to lounge, and a get away from the summer bugs. Camp door is locked with a coded lock. Upon entry of camp you will be met with a welcoming home like feel. The only thing you will need are drinking water and sleeping bags. Bunks are fitted with clean linens. Come!
