Nellie’s Lake Retreat

Remodeled home on Lake Allatoona - only land between our home and the lake is property owned by the Army Corp of Engineers. You can walk down to the lake and enjoy the sights and sounds. Speaking of sounds you will faintly hear train horns on occasion throughout the day and night (sound travels across the lake). The house is open and bright, it faces South so plenty of light even in winter. Enjoy sitting on the deck or in the covered patio and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.

Downtown Screen Porch Living

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this downtown Cartersville home. Walk to all downtown shops and restaurants. Relax in the mornings drinking coffee on the attached screened in porch. Spacious parking lot behind home that is private and secure. Family friendly setup with a huge sectional couch that pulls out into a full queen sleeper with all needed linens and pillows. Coffee bar setup, dedicated workspace with printer, wireless wifi and tv’s in each room.

Bunk House Cartersville-LakePoint Sports Complex

We are just 6 miles from LakePoint sports complex (10 minutes) and 1.5 miles from historic downtown Cartersville. Our home will sleep 10, including two roll a way beds. If you have other sleeping requests we will be happy to try to accommodate you. 3 TV’s with Xfinity and Wifi plus the bunk room has an additional TV for gaming. Dogs friendly, the back yard is fenced. We are walking distance to Dellinger Park which offers Walking/running trails, tennis courts play grounds and more.

This is the perfect getaway spot for folks who just want to chill and relax for a few days, a week or a month. We are also 15 minutes away from Lakepoint Sports Complex. Big enough to host a family reunion, but cozy enough for a romantic weekend with your honey. Each room has its own décor theme, the master suite is INCREDIBLE, and the house has plenty to keep you entertained like pool, games, Starlink Wifi and dish network. We have worked hard to make our home your home.

Lakeside Peace and Woods. Private Carriage House

Nestled on Lake Allatoona, the Carriage House adjoins Corp of Engineers land. A quick 1-minute stroll leads to my dock, where you can fish, swim, kayak, or bring a small boat. The Lake Point Sports Complex is just 20 minutes away, with a pleasant drive via back roads for visiting athletes. After a long day on the fields, enjoy the tranquility of this serene setting. Winter offers a peaceful ambiance with lovely light. Very private, surrounded by quiet woods and wildlife.

Little Cottage in The Woods

Get out of town and unwind at this peaceful retreat in the woods where you can sit on the back porch overlooking a private lake. If you’re a nature buff, take a hike in the woods by the house, stroll the banks of the Etowah river nearby or enjoy lake life on Allatoona. If you like to stroll museums, explore the Booth Museum, The Tellus and The Savoy Car Museum. Or enjoy an afternoon with live music & local wine at Big Door Winery just down the road.

"Etowah Ridge Getaway" is a charming home nestled on a tranquil wooded lot located approximately 5 miles from Lake Point Sports Complex and 8 miles from Historic Downtown Cartersville, Georgia. Our cozy home includes 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, living room, kitchen and laundry room and dining room with a deck through sliding doors. Home includes access to 9 acres with a walking trail to view nature's beauty. Very private setting.

Goat Farm Guest Suite

Our goat retreat suite is on a 2 acre wooded lot in a quiet and secluded area. The suite has a private entrance off a common hallway in our detached outbuilding. A queen bed, full kitchen, bath, Wifi, cable TV. Outside is a patio & several games, plus goats (& deer & hawks, etc). Currently we have 4 goats, Mocha, Immy, Miss Betty, and Daisy! (Note: we are ADA exempt. Sorry, but no service animals.)

You’ll also find yourself steps from the small creek by the home & a nature filled walking trail that you can take into Logan Farm Park & our Historic Downtown Acworth.
