Elmbridge: soggiorni in pensioni

Fourth year we've come back to Louise's. We keep coming because it just such a lovely spot - peaceful, beautiful and really easy for a young family. Louise always makes you feel so welcome with all her little extras like the delicious homemade granola. Lots of thought goes into everything. The accommodation in the pretty diary is comfortable, cosy and well thought through too. Haslemere with it's supermarkets/shops etc... is just a quick drive away. In the past we've been to lovely nearby pubs too. What's really special though is that you are really in the countryside here and the well maintained grounds are beautiful. There'a even a wonderful circular walk to the Black Down's Temple of the Winds, much loved by Tennyson. We can't recommend enough. Thank you so much for another magical stay Louise and family.

We enjoyed our 12 day stay at Linda's. We were well prepared in advance, and everything involved in getting checked in went very smoothly. We were very comfortable and slept well. Linda and her husband were friendly and helped us get oriented locally. The kitchen worked out extremely well for us to prepare most of our meals, and that helped us with some dietary issues. We would highly recommend Linda's place. It is a great balance between a quiet country place, yet close to shopping and restaurants in Cobham and Esher. We hope to be back again!

Lovely little place as a stop over for Heathrow the next day! If I were to have a personal preference I would suggest bringing a pillow as they were a thinner style thank you Louise 🤍

Thank you so much Beth for having us to stay in your gorgeous Dairy. Your house is truly beautiful and the Dairy was wonderful and private. Great area to explore Surrey, with walkable pubs and a village shop. Kids loved all the local wildlife and didn’t want to leave!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Tracy’s lovely annexe! The annexe is gorgeous and well-appointed, all the little touches were subtly perfect (milk and Prosecco in the fridge, coffee machine ready to go with pods provided, ample cutlery and glassware, scented candles dotted around, lovely products in the bathroom, spotless towels and sheets, very comfortable bed… oh, and everything you need to get going with the log burner already provided). The grounds are lovely and welcoming (with some really friendly dogs living at the main house), and gorgeous fields stretch out in front of the house and hot tub, with forests and streams, connecting to local footpaths and bridleways. The hot tub was fabulous and we enjoyed it both the evenings we were there. We ate at the Half Moon (discovery menu) one evening on Tracy’s recommendation and had one of the best meals of our lives. It’s almost difficult to want to write such a positive review because I’d rather keep such a gem a secret! :)

We had a lovely stay, the little house was clean, cosy and warm, everything you need, we explored the area for walks. We walked to the local pub , The Fox Inn they where very friendly the food was nice. We went to the Parrot at Forest Green for a Sunday Roast which was great. Horsham is near if you fancy a potter around the shops and pick up some bits. Guildford was 30 minutes away also another lovely day there too. Thank you we enjoyed our visit.

Lovely weekend break away. The accommodation was ideal, beautifully presented, comfortable and in lovely surroundings. Jessica had provided plenty of additional bits like breakfast cereals, fresh loaf of bread, milk, preserves and not forgetting two wonderful slices of home made cake! Amanda and Ben couldn't have been more helpful, and the cottage was a lovely place to stay whilst visiting elderly family. The dogs were the icing on the cake for us!

Lovely flat! Looks exactly like in the photos. And the host was very helpful. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Had a wonderful 4 night stay at Aletheas place and can’t speak highly enough of the accommodation and the family. Lovely welcome from Ronnie when we arrived, and he showed us around the place. Nothing was too much trouble and gaff never felt more comfortable and welcome anywhere. My boys ended up playing in the garden with Ronnie on a few occasions and are now asking when they can go back. The accommodation itself was spotless and had all mod cons. The beds were comfy and the rainfall shower was a delight. Hoping to come back and stay soon! Thank you Alethea and family for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The annex is a lovely little space, very cosy and nicely decorated. Vanessa was helpful and communicated very clearly at all times. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay and Lee was super accommodating. Really appreciate him looking after us when I had booked the wrong dates and allowing us to transfer them at short notice! If I’m ever in the area again I will certainly be using Lee again. The accommodation was lovely, slept like a dream, was quiet and relaxed! Would recommend to anyone! Thank you again for the stay!!

A really wonderful place to stay, can't recommend it enough. It's 20 mins drive from Legoland, so great if you've got kids (or are a big kid yourself!) and 20 mins drive from henley and all the nice waterside/regatta stuff going on there. Getting a taxi is quick and easy if you don't want to drive. Amy was a friendly, helpful host. If we are ever staying in the area again, this is the first place I'd look to see was available, without a doubt.

We had a great stay for the weekend! Claire was very welcoming & had stocked the fridge for us which was hugely appreciated after a long drive. There was even homemade cake which was delicious! The property was clean & the bed(s) were comfortable. The cottage is lovely & peaceful, and the public footpaths around the woods next door were stunning…bluebells everywhere! The property was perfect for what we needed. Thanks for having us!

The apartment was perfect. It had an extremely well-equipped kitchen and a Nespresso machine with pods. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was lovely a warm. The beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed. There's a nice patio area with a table and chairs. It was all absolutely perfect. We'd definitely recommend and would stay again.

Frances was very responsive, communicated well , great host . we had milk and coffee tea and biscuits waiting for us. all the amenities inside the flat were just as advertised. we had another local host contact if we needed & the location very serene. The woodland garden would be even better in summer . loved our stay and would stay again. Vij & Micky

We stayed for four nights with our two teenage city kids to give them a taste of countryside life!! They loved the spacious apartment, all of the nature, birds, badger, deer and of course the kites, the warm pool, and freedom to explore the extensive grounds! A fabulous Airbnb with very generous and kind hosts.

Stayed at Janet’s prior to a long haul flight breaking up the journey. The old stable was a perfect venue clean,comfortable and well appointed. Both Janet and Anthony were very welcoming. Lovely peaceful walk to the church and along the country lanes.Proof that small things really do come in good packages! Thank you both Cath and Adrian

It was a perfect place to stay for me. The place is very pretty, cozy and well looked after. The host was very responsive, helpful too. Hope to come back here again.

Had a fantastic stay at Chloe’s apartment. It was exactly like the photos, and had nice welcoming touches with tea / coffee and some biscuits. Great value for money, and the area was really peaceful. The fact the driveway is gated, it felt really safe and I didn’t have to worry about my car. The bed is comfortable, yet firm, so if you have any back issues I found it was a really good night’s sleep and no back pain. The shower is really big too, with a choice of rainfall or normal shower head. In all honesty, it was a little further out of London than I thought, that’s my fault though and no reflection on the listing at all. Just be aware if you are booking with the intention of going into London, I think it was approx an hour to get to Tottenham Court Road from Gerrard’s Cross, and if there are any engineering works (like this weekend), you’re looking around 90 mins to get into London with various tube or trains.

We had a lovely, friendly welcome when we first arrived to this cozy getaway spot in the middle of the forest. The cabin was well equipped with everything you could need for a little weekend away, or longer. We spent 3 nights here and felt right at home. The space was a comfortable size with a lovely balcony area to enjoy the afternoon sun with views of the garden and woodland beyond, with a really comfy bed to rest after long walks in the surrounding forest. My husband and I had a lovely time away and we would definitely recommend staying here.

The Bungalow is a spacious and comfortable home from home in a peaceful yet accessible location. It is extremely well equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended and we would definitely book here again if we were in this area. Thank you, Julie.

Amazing host for a great place to host! Lorraine and her family are both super friendly and welcoming, providing discreetly all help necessary. The lodge has 4 large comfortable bedrooms and beautiful surroundings, including a peaceful terrace, amazing BBQ and fantastic jacuzzi and pool. Wonderful 10 days!
