Wonderful cabin. We very much enjoyed being on the farm, disconnected from everything and especially getting to visit the animals. We didn't get to ride the horses, but we did get to pet them and say hello. Lovely cats as well. We would love to come back and can only recommend this airbnb.

This was the perfect place for our group of two moms and two teen daughters. It was within an hour of Reykjavik and key Golden Circle sites, and was easy access to Highway 1 that took us to the Southern part of the country to experience its dramatic features (our favorite part). Nearby Sellfoss offered the cheapest gas we found and lower prices at grocery stores than in Reykjavik. We had amazing views of the Northern Lights every night we stayed up late enough to see them due to the wide open views from the cabin and relative low light in the valley. The hosts were AMAZING, offering tips, keeping us informed about the area, and even dropping us a quick note when they'd heard through local reports that there would be a particularly great aurora display that night. We also loved the relative privacy and open space around the cabin. I almost hesitate to go on as we plan to return one day and I hope the place isn't booked solid!

The cottage is a lovely peaceful place to relax. Highly recommended!

We loved staying here for a couple of nights on our week long tour of southern Iceland. Very clean, gorgeous location, comfy beds and a useful kitchen. We were a little disappointed that the view of the waterfall was only visible from a couple of small windows, both of which you had to stand to look out of… the big windows in the sitting area face fields which are also lovely but not the waterfall. Still a five star experience!

This place was great and had easy access to so many attractions. Selfoss is a short drive away and had many restaurants to choose from. We stayed 3 nights and would book again if we were back in the area.

Kristin‘s place was fully stocked, extremely easy to find and flexible timing when checking in and checking out! It was peaceful and a beautiful location. I would recommend this to anybody who has a family or traveling with multiple families.

Ce logement était de loin notre meilleur sur l’Islande ( nous en avons fait 3) . Paisible, tranquille , parfaitement équipée, « comme chez nous ». C’est une maison familiale et ça se ressent tellement. Tb équipée! Literie au top, il fait chaud même sans chauffer. Le jacuzzi sur la terrasse rajoute la touche de perfection au voyage. ( encore + quand on a la chance de voir les aurores boréales) Vraiment je recommande et si nous retournons en Islande nous hésiterons pas 1 sec pour prendre de nouveau ce logement! Hôte très réactive et n’oubliez pas de regarder l’e-mail d’information qu’elle nous envoie en arrivant cela aide à trouver le logement! Aucun point négatif

The cabin was thoughtfully decorated. Also, a private and peaceful place close to bigger town and outdoor attractions.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is secluded and very peaceful but also a short drive to the nearest town with everything you need. It is warm and clean with the hot tube an extra bonus!
