Strýta Guesthouse

The cottage is on a quiet and beautiful place. The terrace faces south and in calm nice weather it is great to have a nice evening with barbeque grill or lying in the hot tub watching the stars or at winter time watching the amazing northern lights. Great hiking paths are in the area and lots of Icelandic horse realated activities are all around.We are located between Hveragerði and Selfoss (5km from Hveragerði and 10km from Selfoss). There you can find great swimming pools and all necessities.

The Old Farmhouse

Welcome to the countryside. I offer a peaceful location and a friendly farmhouse for you to accommodate and relax during your holiday between exploring the wonders the south has to offer. (20 km from Road 1). Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, and downstairs a living room, a kitchen fully equipped for cooking, a work room, a bathroom and a washing room. Outside is a large terrace. The property is a modern 4-bedroom villa on the bank of lake Apavatn & river Hólaá. Kayaks, fishing poles & permits included for guests. (Fishing is only permitted during summer). The house is 184 m2, with a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace with a hot tub & a seating area facing the lake. It includes free WiFI, smartTV´s, sauna, washing machine & dryer. It is perfectly situated in the Golden Circle. It is 10 km from the town Laugarvatn where there are restaurants & Fontana Spa.

The Shed, country atmosphere

The Shed is totally renovated and has a cozy warm atmosphere. Situated on a working farm far away from traffic and densely populated areas. The Shed sleeps four and has modern amenities. The Shed is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. It is a great base for travelling around the south of Iceland with a selection of self-drive tours you can do e.g. the Golden Circle, The South Coast, Þjórsárvalley, etc. There are also many tour companies operating in this area.

The wifi conects to a smart-tv , the tv has an open account for our gests on amozon prime tv also you can login on your netflix acount or just youtube. Free washer and dryer. The scenary is beautiful and picturesque. The house is in the middel of the golden circle and is a great place to stay and be clouse to all the biggest attractions in the south part of Iceland.

Small cottage in amazing landscape

Small cottage in south of Iceland. Only 30 minute drive to many of the most amazing nature resorts on Iceland such as Gullfoss, Geysir and Thingvellir. Built to be a family guest house but has taken the role of being some-sort of a romantic get-away for newly weds and people celebrating wedding anniversaries....Funny how things change :D The house includes; Bed, sofa bed, kitchen tools, 4G wireless internet, hot tub and much more(see pics)
