Historic Georgian Flat with Community Garden

It's filled with light and spacious for a one bedroom apartment. It's filled with fun things that I have collected over the years, so it comes with bags of my personality! It's quiet - especially the bedroom which is located at the rear. I like cooking, so the kitchen is well-equipped. Bring your tunes - there is a nice Sony bluetooth speaker to connect with! Access all areas - I keep the cellar and a filing cabinet in the bedroom locked for my own bits and pieces though. On arrival, I prefer to meet my guests in person to get you settled and share my local recommendations that fit with your plans and timing. New Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and carefully protected from new development. It supports a lovely mix of residential property and boutique retailing, including tons of coffee shops, private galleries, restaurants, and interior design shops. Bus stop round the corner and tram stop 5 minutes away at St Andrews Square. 10 minutes walk to the main railway station, Edinburgh Castle and the very heart of Edinburgh. Taxi rank 5 minutes walk down Dundas Street and taxis usually available on the street too. Please note my TV works via the internet so you can view BBC iPlayer/Netflix/Amazon content only. The bed is a standard double i.e. 4 feet 6 inches wide and 6 feet 3 inches long (137 x 190 cm). The bed will be made up ready for your arrival including 4 feather pillows, a duvet and a warm throw. An allergy free pillow and a hot water bottle can be found in the chest of drawers. I supply two large towels, a hand towel, a dish towel and a bath mat for each booking.

Walk along the Royal Mile from an Elegant Apartment

Enter into a magical courtyard off the Royal Mile guarded by four blue and gold dragons and you step back in time to a mystical period. The property dates from 1790 but has been sympathetically upgraded. The wonders of the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe are right on your doorstep, or, if you prefer, close the door and people watch from your bedroom or living room which look straight on to the Royal Mile. You really couldn't get a better position to enjoy the Castle, the Palace, Arthurs Seat or the wonders of the Old Town of Edinburgh. Entire property. I will be in the local area and always on hand if you have a question or an issue. Set in the heart of Old Town, the flat is steps away from the vibrant boutiques, craft shops, pubs, and restaurants that line the area’s quaint streets and alleyways. It’s an ideal stepping off point for visiting many museums and historic sites. This apartment is based on the Royal Mile where tour buses leave on a regular basis as do taxis and local buses. Walking is the name of the game in such a central location! Transport in from the Airport can be by bus or tram and both stops are a 5 minute walk up the hill to the flat.

Worry free if you have heavy luggages to carry. It is right at the heart of the Edinburgh Festival theatres. 15min walk from Edinburgh Waverley station and 10 min walk to the Royal Mile. Surrounded by lots of local restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets, and right in the heart of all Festivals as well!

King Sized bedroom with own en suite bathroom in a beautiful Georgian four storey town house on a picturesque garden square in the UNESCO World Heritage New Town. This freshly renovated basement flat has its own private front door. The house is in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh, close to the city centre, minutes away from fabulous artisan cafes, fantastic restaurants, delis, bars, independent shops and galleries. Across the square is Glenogle Baths with a gym, sauna and swimming pool.

The Edinburrow is in a Basement suite in the New Town City Centre of Edinburgh. Minutes walking distance to train, tram & all Edinburgh attractions. It offers your own private entrance & wee basement courtyard which leads down to a double bedroom, through to a hallway with a twin bedroom with 2 small doubles & a large bathroom. There is no kitchen but a small snug with chairs & table, fridge, nespresso coffee machine, kettle and cups & glasses. Tea & coffee pods are provided.
