With its spacious lounge, well equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms and south facing balcony, Drysalters Yard is an ideal base to explore the shops, eateries, walks and leisure activities on offer in the locality. The apartment has a designated parking space and is within walking distance of the town and its various transport links.

THE STUDIO APARTMENT, Lickbarrow Lodge, Windermere

The Studio is a small self-contained ground-floor studio-apartment (max 5.9 m/19.3 ft x 5.7 m/18.8 ft), part of our "Arts and Crafts"-era home, furnished and decorated to reflect that unique period (please see "The space" below). We are located on a quiet country lane just 1 mile/1.5 Km from Windermere and Bowness villages in the Lake District National Park. Free private parking for two cars. Please note - 3-night minimum stay during the summer holiday period - late July and all of August.

Apple tree cottage has recently been refurbished with modern interiors and super fast broadband. A self catering cottage with its own small garden and driveway, set in bucolic countryside. Able to accommodate 3 guests (3rd guest with an additional charge) with a unique 'reading nook' which can be made into a small single bed for a young child. Babies up to 2 years old are welcome (free of charge) with a travel cot and high chair supplied. Alternatively, a sofa bed can be made available.
