We’ve stayed at many places in Torquay and Wambiri is by far the best location with access to the beach, walking tracks and cafes right at your door! Would stay again.

Great stay here. Trust what you read under Bohdan’s management. He’s a great host. The cottage is gorgeous and in a great location. Everything you need - very practical design. Well equiped and clean which was a highlight after staying in many grotty, sticky places with a lot of everything you don’t need. Bohdan asked for feedback as to what the cottage might need and I can’t think of anything - it’s all there 👍.

The place was nice and clean. two bedrooms with a queen bed in each room. The place was quiet. Short drive to the cafes, shops, and the Irish pub. No WiFi.

Fantastic setting and so private. Lovely personal touches and everything as described. Space to enjoy the privacy yet close enough to a vibrant town as well. Our dog loved it!

A warm and welcoming host, very communicative and caring. Lovely place just as described, with plenty to do nearby, easy to find with a gorgeous view to sit and relax with a glass of wine. It was beautiful to hear the ocean sounds at dusk and our toy cavoodle enjoyed the walks at the beach and lovely grass areas. Bedding was very comfortable and the tv entertainment was great. Castaway is a great stay. Cozy and clean. View is spectacular. Shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Calm and quiet surrounding. Host is nice, friendly and flexible for our requirements.

We loved our stay! The house is absolutely beautiful, felt like a 5 star hotel, beautiful furnishings, linen and decor, super functional, spacious and had everything we need. Location was quiet but walkable to beach and main town. We will be back!
