Eco Friendly Tented Camp in St Francis Bay

A secluded, secure tented camp located 5 minutes from St Francis Bay. One large and two smaller "Army" tents are nestled in between the indigenous bush overlooking a small pond. All the tents have lights and outlets powerful enough for small devices such as laptops and phones (note that high wattage appliances such as hairdryers will not work). The toilet and shower were designed in a way to incorporate nature into your stay. Remember that bushbuck roam the camp, no pets, and bring a torch!

New Holme - Tented Camp

The tent sleeps 4 guests in 2 separate tent compartments. Fully carpeted, it has a double bed in one compartment and 2 single beds in the other. The ablution facilities are 30 meters away. It is pitched in the New Holme Guest House garden . There is a common lounge, dining room, bar area and a pool in the peaceful garden. Meals are available: Dinner @R270 pp – 3 course home-style meal Breakfast @R125 – available from 7:45 Activities are available as described in "other details to note"

Rustic, Off-the-Grid, Eco. Glamping. Nothing fancy. Spaces are communal. Kingsize bed with bedding and towels. NO ELECTRICITY in teepee, only solar rechargeable lights. Charging station at the outside communal bush kitchen. Communal bathroom with hot shower. Bush kitchen equipped with gas stove. Basic cutlery and crockery provided. No microwave. BBQ facilities available. Guided Tour Included in the accommodation price. Teepee may be loud and get a bit wet with strong winds & heavy rain.

Forest Glamping

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Large safari style tents situated on a raised deck with views of the forest. The tent has two single beds, chairs, power points and a deck for you to lounge on. You have access to 3 choices of bathrooms, some with outdoor showers and another with a bathtub boasting forest views. Use our clean and well equipped communal kitchen as well as braai areas, a bar, a plunge pool/hot tub, plus some beautiful walks into the forests and rivers.

Secluded Bell Tent @ Wonderwoods

Wonderwoods Private Nature Retreat offers a truly memorable stay in one of only three canvas Bell Tents scattered amongst scentful Eucalyptus trees, ferns and indigenous forest. Your 5m Bell Tent has a high quality extra length queen size bed with clean bedding and extra blankets. A few meters from your tent is your private compost toilet with clean water. An isolated campsite 22km (50 minutes) from Graaff-Reinet . Surrounded by nature, birds and game. Situated in a valley among the mountains of the Camdeboo National Park. The rustic campsite has a sleeping deck which shelters a boma containing, a fireplace. There is an outside braai, cold shower and flush toilet. A place to relax. Completely isolated. A single campsite. Raised vehicle 2x4 or 4x4 required. Get away from it all when you stay under the stars.
