Goldcrest Lodge is a peaceful hideaway within secluded woods on the 140 acre historic estate of Wadhurst Castle. It is designed to blend in to its woodland setting, yet is bright and spacious with modern luxuries - perfect for a romantic break, a restful escape or for reconnecting with nature. It has a double bedroom (5' bed) with huge picture window, a central main room with sofa bed leading to a kitchen area and separate shower room beyond. Decking and private screened bath. East Hill, an area of outstanding natural beauty, is nearby, and overall, there is an abundance of unique places to explore. Yet the accommodation is a peaceful retreat for study or just relaxation. We want it to be your home from home.

Our Grade ll Barn is in a quiet countryside spot within driving distance of Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells, Brighton and Hastings. This unique place has a style all of its own. A spacious home for a romantic getaway or a weekend adventure exploring the local beaches, walks & golf clubs The Barn is equipped with a hot tub, outdoor cinema screen, Ooni pizza oven, firepit/BBQ. We have a driveway which has space for two cars directly outside. *Please note our place is NOT suitable for children.

Winter retreat - sauna, cold plunge pond & hot tub

Spa with hot tub and sauna all heated via a log burner for the ultimate retreat break. Guest house in large gardens, king sized bed, small kitchen and en-suite. Many local attractions near Brighton Gatwick Airport and the South Downs! Pull out double sofa bed, works well for smaller family’s. Stunning 25 meter swimming pond, water is crystal clear. Large deck and sun-loungers by the swimming pond. We use the garden too, it’s part of our home but there is plenty of opportunity for privacy.

Escape to the Sea

Gorgeous, spacious, south-facing flat with stunning sea views, original features, and high ceilings. The sunrises/sets and moon reflections are breathtaking! In between St Leonards on Sea and Hastings, and 30 seconds to the beach! The bedroom has a king size bed and the living room a double sofabed. Bedding is cotton/linen washed with non toxic products. Flat is on the 3rd floor but not that many stairs and as such, sea views far from the madding crowd! There is free parking nearby

Beautiful barn on the South Downs Way

Beautiful barn, perfect for walkers, also great as a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the local countryside. Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

Our chalet-inspired studio barn, with vaulted ceilings and oak beams, is light and airy in the summer and beautifully warm and cosy in the winter, with underfloor heating throughout. It is completely self-contained, with a separate entrance from the adjacent family house. With a sumptuous superking bed (or two twins), sofa bed, unlimited fast WiFi and HDTV, you are assured of a relaxing and welcoming stay in a family-friendly setting in the East Sussex countryside.
