Fiandre Orientali: soggiorni in baite

Een heerlijk juweeltje verstopt in de bossen van Stekene. Alles was exact als de foto’s en verraste alsnog positief. Genieten van het huis, de ruimte eromheen en de hot-tub. Alles staat er in volle paraatheid om te onthaasten en genieten. Het enige puntje van “kritiek” (je moet toch ook een imperfectie kunnen vinden) zou de lamp boven het bad zijn. Prima licht, prima lamp, maar als je opstaat uit bad draag je hem als een hoed. Zoals je ziet, je moet zoeken naar verbeterpunten en wij hebben absoluut en met volle teugen genoten! Een onmiskenbare aanrader.

Joke's place is in the heart of the forest so you are surrounded by nature. We didn't have the chance to use the hot tub and sauna but the facilities looked great. A few issues with the TV connection but more of an excuse to read instead :)

Wat een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen! Het huis is sfeervol en van alle gemakken voorzien en ook in de ruime tuin is het heerlijk om te zitten. Onze kinderen waren ook super enthousiast. ‘s avonds genoten we met z’n tweeën van de sauna en jacuzzi. Margo is eens een hele vriendelijke host die snel reageert. Hier willen we zeker nog een keer terugkomen!

We hebben enorm genoten van dit plekje. Helemaal tot rust komen in een groene omgeving met veel privacy. Ideale bestemming om een zonnig winterweekend door te brengen, maar ook het geluid van de regen op het dak en het knetteren van de haard zorgen ervoor dat je de buitenwereld even vergeet. Alles was netjes en verzorgd. Het huisje is fijn ingericht en echt alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben is aanwezig. De ideale manier om volledig te ontspannen en genieten van de rust (maar ook de vogeltjes, konijntjes en de reiger die vlak voor je landt). Uiteraard maken de jacuzzi en de hot tub het geheel af, maar zelfs ook het buitentoilet hoort echt bij het off grid project! Top! Wij komen graag nog eens terug!

Had an amazing stay! Beautiful place

Merci à Tommy et Marieke pour ce séjour incroyable! Nous sommes venus en couple pour un séjour de 4 jours, et tout était comme dans la description. Un chalet avec une belle décoration, au calme dans la nature, avec tout ce dont on a besoin, voire plus ! Tout était très propre et sentait bon (surtout avec les fleurs fraîches), et la literie extrêmement confortable! Les instructions étaient claires, les hôtes étaient proactifs, réactifs et discrets. Nous avons adoré le four à pizza et le bain nordique, ainsi que l’attention à l’écologie. Nous nous sommes surpris à vouloir rester dans le chalet pour en profiter, plutôt que d’aller visiter les alentours. Nous recommandons chaudement, si vous cherchez un pied-à-terre magique et féérique entre Bruges et Gand. Nous y retournerions avec plaisir !

The cottage is more beautiful than the images! It is accessible even if you do not have a car, though a car would've made things a lot easier 😅 The area has a few walking routes you can take and see some horses and sheeps. Great to wind down and be with nature for a while. Elena and Jasper are friendly and very responsive too. Overall I recommend! ☺️

Fantastic accommodation, we really liked it, we did however make an error on our part and thought we had booked for three nights when we actually booked for two! We went out for the day none the wiser and got a call from a calm Stijn who managed to help us out even further, for us made the adventure more a memory! Many thanks 🙏

Stijn is een heel fijne host, vlot in de communicatie en soepel om afspraken mee te maken. Het huisje is prima voor zes volwassenen, in de keuken zijn veel basisvoorzieningen, je merkt dat Stijn in de horeca actief is, er is aan van alles gedacht. Ook de omgeving is prachtig om te wandelen.

Parfait pour déconnecter au vert ! Chaleur et confort pour se laisser vivre et flâner

Wir waren schon begeistert, bevor wir überhaupt angekommen sind! Tim hat wirklich an alles gedacht – in seiner App gab’s super Infos zur Anreise, Umgebung, Unterkunft und all den Extras. Alles super erklärt, teilweise mit Videos und das mit einem nerdigen Humor, was uns als Fantasy-Fans total abgeholt hat. Auch vor Ort: einfach wow! Die Unterkunft ist mit so viel Liebe gestaltet, alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert, es war herrlich ruhig und unser Hund konnte sich im eingezäunten Garten frei bewegen. Tim war jederzeit erreichbar, falls doch mal was gewesen wäre. Das Highlight: die Outdoor-Badewanne und Sauna – perfekt für einen privaten, romantischen Spa-Abend. Nach fünf Tagen purem Abschalten kamen wir komplett erholt nach Hause zurück. Danke für dieses großartige Airbnb, Tim!

Le logement est superbe, décoré avec énormément de goût, dans un style à la fois moderne et chaleureux. Chaque détail a été pensé avec soin, on s’y sent tout de suite bien. Un lieu inspirant et ultra confortable, on reviendra avec plaisir !

We had a fantastic stay with Marie-Pascale and Erwin in Waregem, they were brilliant hosts very relaxed and friendly. We were there to cycle and watch the Tour of Flanders and it was great base for that. The pool house was very clean and tidy and ideal for two. I loved Flanders and would definitely return to the pool house again. Thanks for letting us stay Marie & Erwin

Quiet with astonishing countryside nature in 360 degrees. Walking paths alongside canals, birds, rabbits, just about as peaceful as you can get. The beds are comfy, full sized fridge with cooktop, oven and dishwasher and every plate/pot/utensil you could ever need. Fireplace is easy to use and made for excellent warmth and atmosphere. Restaurants and stores within 5 minutes, but everything you could want within 20 minutes. You must have a car, but this is where you should go to relax.
