Welcome to Cabin au Nord; a Scandinavian inspired cabin near Pequot Lakes, MN perfect for cozy year round getaways . Impeccably designed, every detail has been thought of to promote relaxation. The cabin features one queen bedroom on the first floor, large king room with nature views on the upper level, modern kitchen, spa-like bathroom, work desk area for remote workers, living/dining area with floor to ceiling windows, and an outdoor Solo Stove. 5 mins to Pequot Lakes and 10 mins to Gull.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Rizzy's On the Lake Oland Villa

Oland Villa, named after a small island and province just off the southeast coast of Sweden, is a two-bedroom, one-bath, dog-friendly unit offering a single full bed in one room and twin bunks in the other. The living room has a pullout sofa for additional sleeping space. Kitchens are fully stocked with basic cooking essentials and panoramic views of Lake Osakis. All units have central air and heat, all bedding linens, bath towels plus basic kitchen essentials are provided.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."

Stoney Ridge Lighthouse

The lighthouse is located on 50 acres of wooded property on Rock Lake in central Minnesota (about 2 hours northwest of the twin cities). The 2,000 square foot lighthouse has seven levels, including the crows nest that is over 50 feet high, here guests can see over the canopy of the trees. It is a timber framed structure that includes 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We hope you, your friends, and family come to enjoy our property as much as we have over the past 30 years!

Lake Ida Hideaway, near Carlos Creek Winery

Enjoy gorgeous sunsets overlooking pristine lake Ida, while listening to the loons sing. Lake Ida has crystal clear water with visibility exceeding 16 feet. The 4400 acre lake is an exceptional fishery, as well as an ideal recreational lake for boating and other water sports. Rental license number: 2138

Everything is brand new in this space. Perfect for families and friends! Please note that due to winter conditions the plumbing/bathroom/kitchenette in the bunk house is unavailable. The main cabin plumbing is available year round.
