Escape to the wilderness of Colorado in our secluded offgrid glamping yurt, nestled amid junipers on 35 acres, a quick 20 minute drive from Durango. Revel in rustic charm, complete with a gas stove, fridge, queen bed, pull-out couch, & wood stove for heat. Step onto the spacious deck to admire panoramic views, BBQ on the propane grill or cozy up to the firepit & take in the vast night sky. Spacious adjacent bath house provides a composting toilet and warm shower. AWD recommended if bad weather.

The Yurt is an extraordinary refuge from the frenzy of the city. Securely set high (7600ft) among mountains, the views stretch out in all directions backing up to the Cibola National Forest. Elk, deer, coyotes, and many birds share their land with us. The dark night sky is breathtaking. The yurt is off-the-grid lit by soft oil lamps after sunset. We also laid a seven-circuit labyrinth for meditative walking. A hot tub is available up at the house. You are welcome to this place of peace.

The Yurt at SkyDog Ridge

This rustic, romantically cozy, 30 foot yurt with skylight sets among Pinyon-Junipers at the end of a driveway on a Horse Ranch. Quiet and private with a Flagstone patio. Horses and resident deer often wander by. Coyotes sing at night. 2 miles from historic Mancos where artists, ranchers and outdoor enthusiasts gather. Look for solitude or adventure in the nearby San Juan NF or Red Rock Desert Canyons. 6 miles to Mesa Verde National Park's entrance. Glamping at its best. Dogs allowed with fee.

Navajo Yurt~ Mesa Verde Views on Campground

Our traditional Navajo Hogan offers a unique experience. Only 5 miles from downtown Cortez. Showers & kitchen are seasonal from April - October. It has a porta-potty, pump sink & portable battery inside. It comes with a queen size bed with full linens, and two towels. There is a wood stove is inside for heat and boiling water. This is located on a private campground. Please see photos. Extra linens are available for rental onsite. Price includes 2 guests, $10 each after, up to 6 total.

This is a 30 foot in diameter pet friendly yurt. Sleeps five; one queen, one twin bed and a new queen pull out sofa. Full kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, living room and dining area all separated by walls but not doors. Has outdoor fire ring with swings, chairs and barbque grill. Propane heater for cool seasons and cooler for summer. Sits on 12 acres with view of pastures and mountains. Animals pastured during the summer months. Shadow the cat will greet you with lots of love!
