The Noddle is in a fantastic location, a short distance from the ferry and quite central on the island of Hoy & South Walls. There was only 2 of us and dogs, so it would be excellent for families & friends, but the space was great. Well equipped kitchen for cooking and baking, the lunch was bright, but the light in the conservatory was so good, comfortable day bed for relaxing, reading, drawing and soaking up the view. We took wood with us for the fire, but didn't use it as the house was lovely and warm. The garden was lovely, easy access to the burn and beach. walking distance to 'Emily's' tearoom, where we had an excellent dinner, great for special occasions (booking recommended), also walked to Scapa Flow visitor centre for lunch (quite basic). There's a lovely cafe at top end of Hoy, Beneath'ill, recommended if you are going to Rackwick - amazing beach. Been to Hoy a few times, loved our week at The Noddle. Tony was quick to respond to any queries. We'll be back.

Richard was an amazing host. Very helpful and informative. We made use of the communal camp fire. Richard joined us along with some guests from the USA We had a great evening. Thank you Richard

Es war ein sehr gemütliches und liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Der Garten lädt zum lesen und verweilen ein. Pepita hat uns super gut mit Information versorgt, sehr hilfsbereit mit allen Fragen die wir hatten. Es war toll für uns, dass wir durch sie auch einen Kontakt zu einem einheimischen Fischer ( Kevin) herstellen konnten. Er war sehr freundlich und nahm sich mehrmals Zeit, um mit uns am Meer zu fischen. Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit in Schottland.

Church was a great space to be in. It did exactly what we needed it to do for us. Smart well presented and clean. Shower switch was a game of hide and seek but one message to Kevin sorted this out (its in the cupboard opposite the bathroom on the right about waist height.) Good well insulated building which made it pretty hot to sleep in given that its summer when we visited. Maybe bring a fan. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom clean and spotless. Bedrooms were one double bedroom and 2 single beds in the other. Slightly changed from the description. All in all a good stay. Thank you for being so responsive throughout our booking.

We loved every second of our stay even with rainy weather. Yvonne is very friendly and really helpful. We felt like at home and had an amazing family relaxing stay. for sure we will recommend it to friends and family and for sure we will come back again and again. we stayed with 20 months old daughter and it was nice and easy stay. Yvonne even left toys for Maria. Such a lovely touch. thank you very much!!!

Lovely place to stay very roomy, warm and clean. All you could need for 4 people. Lovely location and view.

This was a lovely house and a good base for exploring Caithness. The house was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot. The house was lovely and warm to combat the chilly weather outside! Our hosts were friendly and check in / check out was simple. There was plenty of room for the 10 people in our party. Our children particularly enjoyed the sand dunes at Dunnet Bay and rock pooling at Ham Harbour - even in the rain. There was a nice walk from nearby Lybster Harbour along the cliff tops.

Very comfortable well appointed cottage, nice back garden to sit and relax all local amenities within walking distance. Sid's across the road is an excellent Indian restaurant. Although on the main road we didn't find the noise a problem even though we were sleeping in the front bedroom. Would recommend if visiting the area and if we're in Brora again would certainly look to book in.
