Dunedin: soggiorni in alloggi sull'acqua

One of my family’s favorite stays and extremely comfortable. Bjorn greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, including how to use the heated floors in the bathrooms! He is friendly and my family enjoyed chatting with him. The location is stunning, across the street from the bay and a walking/biking path. Everything in the unit is expertly furnished. The couches are very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and had enough counter space for everyone’s toiletries. This was also the only place we stayed that had a dryer. There is another Airbnb upstairs who we saw park shortly after us but we didn’t hear anything. Another unit is next door on the first floor (well separated by a divider on the patio) but we didn’t see or hear anything during our stay. Overall great place and we were sad to leave after 1 night. The peninsula drive there is beautiful too.

A comfortable, clean, homey apartment with plenty of room for my husband and I to spend 4 wonderful days. Stunning ocean views. Well stocked kitchen for meal prep, also good restaurants and cafes nearby. Gracious and responsive hosts made us feel right at home. Would stay again and certainly recommend to others.

No place better in Dunedin

Wir haben vier Nächte in dem Apartment verbracht und uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist 1:1 wie auf den Bildern und super sauber. Die Lage ist gerade für Wanderungen ideal, für einen Stadturlaub in Dundin ggf. eher nicht da die Fahrt in die Stadt ca 30min beträgt. Dafür ist die Ruhe perfekt, wir haben sogar einen Seelöwen von der Terrasse sehen können, neben unzähligen Sternen in der Nacht wunderbar.klare 5sterne

We really enjoyed our stay at JPs. The location was great and we walked everywhere. JP was very thoughtful having fresh bread for us as well as offering local tips.

Lovely, cosy house. Brilliant kitchen and lovely bedrooms. Quiet as a mouse location and wonderful elevated views over the water. A bit of a way out of town but no problem with a car. Would happily stay again.

A delightfully renovated upmarket villa, perched perfectly on the lush slopes of a calm bay on the peaceful side of the Peninsula. This is a perfect rest up place. The rooms are sumptuous, modern and well lit with natural and aspirational luxury tones. Oversized bed and quality linen provide for an idyllic gaze down the harbour to stunning sunsets. What the hosts provide here is personalised and charming, in Dunedin's most aspirational harbour community.

This house had everything we needed. It is modern comfortable and clean. It has a lovely kitchen with a breakfast bar which was nice to sit at. The bathroom is modern and there is constant hot water. We stayed on a cooler weekend and the central heating was great! The only downside would be the walk up to the house which may be difficult for for an elderly or disable person. The garden is currently unusable though I imagine that when it is done it will be lovely like the inside of the house. I would definitely stay again if I was visiting Dunedin.

Was beautiful view. Small but great size for my partner and I. Homely feeling to the place. Very convenient for us. Paul is always fast to reply and very contactable. We really appreciate being able to stay 5 weeks in this home. Would definitely recommend.

This was my second time staying at Paul’s place, and it was just as magic as the first time. I actually made an error and booked for the wrong week, but Paul was really helpful and accommodating. The balcony with the bay view was magnificent. Highly recommend! Thanks team!

We stayed at this airbnb with 4 people and there was plenty of space for all of us! While the home is situated about 30 mins by car from the center of Dunedin the drive to get there is scenic and the location is very calm and peaceful. The Royal Albatros Center and the penguin watching beach are only a 5 mins drive away. The house was super cozy and it was a pleasure to stay here. We also used the spa a couple of times which was great to relax after a long rainy day! Over all we would definitely recommend staying here especially for small groups of people!

We enjoyed a lovely two night stay in a gorgeous room overlooking the harbour. Loved the large modern bathroom and what a comfortable bed! Enjoyed being outside the city centre but still in close proximity. Susan and her husband were very hospitable and accommodating hosts - we will definitely be returning next time we’re in Dunedin. Highly recommended accommodation.
