We only got to stay for the weekend for a family wedding, but were blown away by the location and how stunning the house was. Super clean arrival instructions made for a seamless experience. Huge thanks. Can’t wait to be back!

We enjoyed a long weekend staying in Meadshaw. Daniele's place made for a cosy and comfortable base in a beautifully remote location. The fire already burning for our evening arrival made us feel right at home. Daniele had provided a variety of hot drink options and cereals to choose from and we were able to heat our food in the microwave and wash up in the bathroom sink. A great weekend.

a delightful place to stay, perfect r location for walks along the beach and close to some great places to dine smd drink! Julie was a fab host, communicating with clarity and made you feel at home with a beautifully curated space that helps ypu to relax and feel at ease... I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great peaceful stay in beautiful location, opposite the marshes... a stunning sunset walk! Delicious breakfasts, Raphaela went out of her way to cater a tasty vegan breakfast. One of my favourite breakfasts in a long time! Thank you for a warm and friendly stay, would highly recommend :)

Nice, cosy and clean space. On the smaller side of things and didn’t love the layout but otherwise good. Worked well for me, my partner and our baby for one night :)

What a delightful place! Squeaky clean, very well appointed modern kitchen and bathroom, packed with everything you could need, including toiletries in the bathroom (bath and shower) - and milk, bread, orange juice, cereals, etc in the kitchen. There’s even an air fryer. AND oh joy! A small bottle of fizz, and tasty little cupcakes! Thank you Marj for a lovely, comfortable home from home - and for greeting me so warmly.

Andy has a great place to stay. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're walking into your own home. The decor is timeless and fitting of the area of Dumfries. The living areas in the house are set up to be very sociable. The location is very peaceful and allows you to take in the Scottish countryside. Andy was very polite, came over to see if we had settled in, providing guidance and information on the different walks in the local area. I would recommend to anyone thinking about staying that it is value for money. We will definitely be back 😀

We had a brilliant time at Emma’s place! It was wonderfully located, peaceful and the surroundings were just stunning! The Airbnb itself was clean, it had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. We really appreciated the brownies and coffee upon arrival and enjoyed reading her collection of local books! Emma was very friendly, accommodating and communicated well throughout. We could have happily stayed longer and if we’re ever back around the area, we will definitely book again! Highly recommended!

Its very rare for me to be speechless... However, on this occasion i most definitely was! Joan greeted us at the property and explained everything to us as well as helpful hints on the local area. She had even made two cakes for us, some fruit compots, croissants and to top it off, a bowl of fruit. There is everything you could possibly need in the accommodation. The bedroom and bathroom are great sizes, the bed linen and towels smell beautiful and the toiletries just finish it all of perfectly! It truly is "home from home".
