This air bnb is absolutely Devine, spectacular afternoon sunset having a glass of wine and sitting out on the table setting. Plenty of room for our dog to run around throwing a ball. And just wow, Lost for words for the interior of the cottage, the perfect romantic night away. This place ticks every box, could not recommend enough!! Our host Kem was so kind lovely and friendly making the whole experience stress free and inviting. Thankyou for the gorgeous air bnb and hospitality. If we’re ever in the area we will be back. 😁

Fantastic stay. Beautiful and well appointed cottage with lovely gardens. Only a short drive into town. Susanne and Jason are very accommodating and welcoming hosts. Great value, you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely immaculate accommodation. Everything was clean, tidy and so refreshing. We were able to relax and enjoy our beautiful surroundings. My family and I had a great time. The home was very basic, but that's what we expected. It was nice and quiet and the view was great with all the sheep and Guinea Fowl running around. My only gripe would be the beds and mattresses could be more comfortable. Would stay again though.

Suzie and Tim were excellent hosts. They were friendly, thoughtful and caring, ensuring that we had a very comfortable stay. Peppercorn cottage is beautiful, well laid out and tastefully decorated. We loved staying there.

Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and lots of lovely little touches throughout the home like bath salts to enjoy in the beautiful big bath. Super comfortable beds and bed linen. Located in a small Cluster of boutiques/ shops/ cafe. We will be back when we are back to visit the zoo with our kids and our friends who live in Dubbo!

Our stay at Macleay Cottage was truly special. The home is beautifully renovated and filled with character, showcasing a stunning collection of locally made art, crafts, and products that really bring Dubbo’s creative community to life. We felt so welcomed, especially with the homemade fresh bread and the generous breakfast goodies—muesli, eggs, tomato, avocado, fruit, and orange juice—it was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and although it was too cool to enjoy the plunge pool & not cool enought for the fireplace this time, we could see how amazing those features would be in warmer or colder seasons. The private garden and peaceful courtyard were lovely spots to unwind, and our puppy Poppy loved to run around and play. We truly appreciated all the care and detail that went into making this place feel like a warm and inspiring retreat. Highly recommended!

Great, tidy little place to stay with 2 adults and a staffy. Very central location and only a short walk to two local parks for the dog to have some exercise.

The Battery Shed is a beautiful place for a couples weekend away where you can unwind together and enjoy the quiet. Sally and Mark are wonderful hosts and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a break from a busy lifestyle where you can slow down here.
