Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay just on the outskirts of Lake District. With 3 well sized bedroom and gym equipment available. Separate dinning room straight off the kitchen. *Due to the nature and the age of the building, please be aware that there is a steep set of stairs to the bedrooms.* We also provide instructor lead Clay Pigeon shooting sessions on the farm to our guests to make their stay that bit more unique. Rather shabby but full of character & very cosy. Port Carlisle has a faded splendour - built on the site of a fishing village, for a brief time it was a major port serving Carlisle, with its own canal & later a railway; in the 1850s the Firth silted up so ships could no longer get in. Birdwatchers, walkers, fans of history, dogs will love it!
