El Nido Apartment at Totten Lake

El Nido is a second-story apartment on a lake-front property, with panoramic views and a wrap-around patio. This two-bed, one-bath contemporary apartment is named El Nido (Spanish for "the nest"), because of the abundant wildlife in the area, including resident bald eagles nested across the street in a designated wetlands. The space is fully furnished and is new construction as of the summer of 2024. The owners have a workshop and office space on the first floor, with occasional day use.

You can enjoy the ambiance of the river from the back deck & many rooms in the house. The home stays comfortable all summer with shade trees and a cool river breeze. TV, Wifi, BBQ and plenty of free parking available. Enjoy Mesa Verde and Canyons of the Ancients, mountain biking and DH/nordic skiing an hour or less away.

The house is located less than 100 yards from the Dolores River, good fishing, swimming, kayaking and breathtakingly beautiful! Immediately emptying into McPhee Lake. Abundance of NF, bike trails, big game hunting!
